I took my family on a very short break to Falmouth - not having been before. The Greenbank held appeal as its set away from the main town and offered a quiet stay. Falmouth is beautiful and the biggest problem with the Greenbank is that you really don't feel you have to leave. It's restaurant, basement pub, fantastic views and...

We stayed here for my partners birthday, it was a busy easter weekend but they were amazing! The staff left a bottle of bubbly and a birthday card for us on arrival. We were treated to breakfast in bed and the staff could not do enough for us! The breakfast is amazing and the bar is lovely with great drinks...

Just outside the centre of Falmouth at walking distance, this hotel has a pretty quayside setting with fabulous views over the harbour. Room with a view is a must. Decor, bathroom and beds all lovely. Our bay window with two chairs and little table offered a mesmerising view of water traffic, changing weather and sunrises. Enjoyed room service breakfast there....

Dear ToursJones Thank you for your most generous review, I do agree about a room with a view but our roadside rooms have the same décor, lovely bathrooms and comfy beds. Guests can sit in our public areas and watch as you quire rightly point out the water traffic. I do hope that it was not you that was blocked...

This a great location for watching the activities on the water, the restaurants cater for all tastes and budgets. We ate at the Working Boat pub on the ground floor - lovely food, good prices and a fantastic view of the sea and estuary. The rooms are lovely and really clean, there is the biggest selection of teas, coffees and...

Great views of the harbour from the bar and dining room. Try to get a sea view room. Soon rooms are right on top of the busy road so can be noisy. Staff all very well trained and were helpful and polite. Breakfast , excellent , as was the diner we had. However the carpets in the corridors and dinning...

Our room was a classic double which was lovely, immaculate and very relaxing. Our breakfast was great too, we are in the Working Boat downstairs and again the...

Dear jo B Thank you for your encouraging and helpful comments, a 'great hotel' is precisely the terminology I would hope for! I will ensure that the flat roof is seen to immediately, I do find it incredible that previous guests must have smoked in the hotel and then flicked their cigarette butts out the window! I do hope you'll...

This was my wife's and I third stay at The Greenbank and it never disappoints. If we were just paying for the view it would be well worth the money but there is so much more it has to offer. Dear Ajbsab I know exactly what you mean about our amazing views but what a bonus to add on to that good fresh Cornish produce served by attentive friendly staff.
