Will and Lisa did not just go the extra mile for us but well beyond that. Along with their friendly, welcoming staff, nothing is too much trouble for them. Helpfulness seems to come naturally and easily to this bunch. Accommodation is delightful and the breakfasts are second to none as far as my family is concerned; the full Cornish is...

We spent three nights in the hotel while we visited family nearby. It was extremely comfortable and welcoming, the rooms were generously sized and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was in a cheerful room and there were good walks nearby. We were especially impressed by the picturesque pond amongst trees. Very colourful in October.

Fourth visit over the past ten years or so, hardly changed, although now different owners. The rooms have been upgraded, very good beds. Very friendly and accommodating staff, good food. Will return again for sure.

We stayed at the pub for one night last week and were greeted with a warm welcome when we arrived. We ate our meal in the bar as we had our dog with us, and there was a lovely friendly atmosphere created by guests, staff and the locals. The food was excellent and the menu varied. This is one of...

Locals recommended the Trengilly for an evening meal. You need a SatNav to find it, hidden away down narrow winding lanes, but well worth the effort. Although a Winter visit, it was a very busy Inn, even in mid week, so advisable to book. I had mussels which were very good, and my Partner said her steak was one of...

I stayed here for 3 nights on a business trip. Location: Wonderfully rural - which does mean that there are a few miles of winding lanes to get there! However, my satnav took me straight there using the postcode. There is plenty of parking. The inn has extensive gardens which are fun to explore and, in summer, would be very...

Hi Thank you for the review and glad you enjoyed it. We apologise about the confusion with breakfast we can always do earlier breakfasts with a bit of warning as we understand business customers have to get to work. The room you booked is advertised as just having a bath if you prefer a shower we can do that in...

The Trengilly was my stomping ground when I was 17/18 to about 22 years old. Mike was the chef and there was a three legged cat. Had fabulous beers and pints of delicious cooked prawns. so was with some trepidation that my husband (he was my boyfriend) when we last visited went back for an anniversary meal. And my it...

We haven't stayed at the Trengilly Wartha for a few years but when we returned for our recent trip we remembered why we love it. It's such a friendly place with great service & you feel so relaxed as soon as you get there. A great location for exploring Cornwall but then you can go back to the pub for...

We stayed here for 3 nights and had 2 evening meals, including a 'group dinner' for 25 guests, as well as breakfast. All the food and service was excellent, there is also a great selection of wines, spirits and beers on offer. The staff were very courteous and helpful!
