A great location, within walking distance of the town centre and stations, right opposite a small park. Very pleasant, well appointed room, with free wifi. Comfy bed (for me at any rate). Tasty breakfast. Good value. You cannot ask for more.

This hotel is very good value for money for a short stay. The room was fit for purpose, although the bed was not the most comfortable I have ever slept in, it had a lovely view over the park and it is ideally situated for access to the town and beaches. Yes its décor is rather dated but if you... More

Nice hotel. However I felt the price difference in rooms a little much. My colleague had the 'smaller room' for £9 less. His room had a single bed but overall was bigger, had a bath and was warm. Mine was a double but much smaller throughout and quite chilly. Very clean, very nice tea making things. We were shown where... More

Stayed here for a week and I can't fault anything. The landlady was incredibly helpful from the moment I arrived to the day of departure. My room although a little dated was completely fit for purpose and from looking at the rest of the hotel they are clearly going through a regeneration process. Food was excellent. All In all a... Very friendly welcome. Enjoyed a nice chat with the owner. Everyone works hard to do their best and to make the stay trouble free. Lovely breakfast room and smiley service. Cotton sheets were great and bed was too comfortable. A bit of redecor would help but it helps give it charm!

The welcome at the Broadmead is really friendly and generally we had a good night. Our only issues were a bed-side light that did not work (it was not plugged in so we did not ask for assistance) and the slight issue of the room not being quite as clean as we would have liked. The breakfast room seems to... More

What a terrible hotel or should it be a B & B, stayed here in August for 2 nights, met by a rude man who showed us to the room, it had decor from the 50s' and the carpet from the 40s'. Smallest shower room we had ever seen, the toilet leaked should I say any more dont' bother going... More

This is an old fashioned hotel in need of an update. Decoration of the public rooms is underway. The hotel is a few minutes walk from Falmouth centre. We stayed here because we couldn't find anywhere else at short ( 1 hour) notice and they allow dogs. The owner seemed a little distracted.

A three star 'hotel' which may have been more appropriately called a B&B. Very friendly staff and excellent breakfasts The location was great, , being opposite a well kept and colourful park. It was an ideal spot for seeing Falmouth; being within walking distance of the town and harbour and also close enough for trips to St. Ives, Helford Passage... More
