Careful instructions got us there very easily. Welcomed in a glorious garden with tea and scones. The house and the room with all the space and beautiful antiques led us to immediately relax. Tessa, welcomed us so sincerely and was very aware that we did not know the area. The insights of things to do, places to see and best... More

We spent 3 nights at Trerose Manor and frankly it just wasn't long enough, the garden was so lovely that we could happily have spent our holiday there! We went to a few of the local beaches which were very close by and also ventured further afield, the Lizard, Falmouth, Truro, St Michaels Mount etc etc are all not too... More

This is a b&b that certainly stands out from the crowd. This for various reasons including a wonderful host (Tessa), a fantastic old house, space galore, magnificent garden and a rather tasty breakfast. The location is in a quiet little hamlet, it is a good 15 min walk to the village which has a pub, shops and restaurants. You need... More

This is a wonderful place to stay if you want to avoid the crowds and the families. We stayed here for a week in July and it was super. Dont stay here and expect to be able to walk to and fro from the beach all the time and have numerous pubs on your doorstep. There are some beautiful walks... More

We stayed at Trerose Manor for two nights last weekend and could not believe the perfect location close to the most beautiful river in Cornwall. Tessa was a marvellous host with all local information on hand to help us with walks, gardens and restaurants. The house is a wonderful period manor house and the garden is stunning. Tessa's breakfasts are... More

We stayed here in September for five nights. The house is gorgeous, Tessa and Piers very welcoming. We had the French room which was huge with a large bathroom. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. The location is ideal for stunning walks. Tessa will give you any information you need about the area. Don't worry about trying to find the place,... More

We stayed at this B&B for a week in July. From the first moment, Tessa and Piers made us feel absolutely welcome and their hospitality was just fantastic throughout, whether as superb hosts for which nothing was too much trouble, fascinating raconteurs or simply as delightful people to talk to. The house is many centuries old, and the bedrooms very... More

Got in very late on Saturday, and owners Tessa and Piers were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The manor is truly lovely, with a classic English garden and just a short walk from water/beach and some great hiking. Also, a beautiful old church and graveyard just a few minutes away. I would stay here again and again. Recommend it highly, but... More

If someone asked me what has been my most perfect stay; this is it. Ok, it isn’t snazzy and modern with designer bathrooms, etc. If that’s what you expect, you just won’t get what this fantastic home is about. It’s understated, it’s tasteful, It’s just – RIGHT Tessa is a wonderful host. Nothing is too much trouble. Her warmth and... More
