My room was spacious, clean and tidy. It was very cosy and the host made me feel like home. Having free wifi internet access was great.

Just enjoyed a lovely weekend here at the Cheltenham. Nothing was too much trouble and the proprietor was a great source for local information. We stayed in the Premier Room at the front of the hotel which was very clean and spacious. We shall be returning again soon and would definately stay here again at the Cheltenham.

Had booked one of the large room and was not disappointed with the size. Very good location & only a short and leisurely stroll to the town center. Nearby pubs and restaurants available for meals (adequately advised by owner). The down side was that the assigned room was facing the main road and could hear the traffic noise (unfortunately, I... We arrived at teatime on Friday and were immediatly greeted with a very warm welcome from the owner, the room was good and clean and ensuite. Althought the hotel did not have a bar there was a hungry horse pub opposite which was very pleasant and served very good food. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent with cereal and the... More

Our second visit did not disappoint, as good, if not better than the first. David is a perfect host, nothing is too much trouble. He is a source of invaluable local information, whether that be for sightseeing or the best restaurants to visit during your stay. A great breakfast sets you up for the day, and a comfortable bed for... More

I stayed at this B&B as I recently relocated to Chester. I had no complaints about the service. The service was superb. The care was personalized and I could always ask the owner a question as he made himself available to my needs. Not to mention that the breakfasts were done in a very great traditional British way. I will... More
