We stayed here two nights in early July. It was warm outside and even hotter Inside. The hotel rooms are quite large and the beds comfortable but the ceilings are low and the lack of air con or other ventilation makes for a rather uncomfortable night's sleep. We were on the second floor and could open the window but it...

We stayed Sunday night. We arrived around midday, too early to move into our room understandably though we checked in efficiently. We went out and returned later that evening to be given our room key. Room 210 I believe. Our room was very pokey and old fashioned but we decided that we'd stick with it as we were staying just...

A very fine hotel with great staff. The mill hotel is clean, friendly & excellent value. The spa is free to hotel guests & the breakfast is quality with plenty of choice. We would defiantly stay again. Thank you everyone at the Mill hotel.

We have just returned from a fantastic weekend in Chester, made extra special by our choice of hotel, The Mill. What a great hotel, perfect location, great rooms, tasty breakfast, wonderful staff, excellent value, free wifi and parking, what more is there to say? I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. If we are ever in Chester again , we...

The Mill as its name implies is a converted mill building on the canal. It is a short walk from the centre of Chester,a very pleasant stroll along the twopath. Free car parking is available in three carparks around the hotel. Our room overlooked the canal and was pleasnt and well furnished. The only drawback was the result of the VERY hot...

For a special celebration my wife and I together with 4 friends went for a luncheon canal cruise on the hotel barge. The food was simply excellent, the service friendly and very good and it was a very enjoyable experience at very good value. The three course lunch and coffee, including the cruise cost £18-50 per person. The cruise is...

This Hotel is located by the canal in a quite area. It is also 5 minutes walk away from the centre of Chester. The Spa and pool are kept tidy and service is good but unfortunately I cannot say the same for the rooms, at least the one we were given. The breakfast was good and they also provide vegetarian...

Great location and a good gym. Located within easy walking distance of the city centre and next to the canal where various good bars are situated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the smoked haddock at breakfast

I travelled with my partner and stayed here for one night. The hotel itself has free on site parking and is only a 10 minute walk into Chester. Our room was in the annexe over the bridge and facing the canal which was lovely, very quiet. The hotel has good facilities and the health club and pool were a welcome...

We booked this hotel very much on spec as a last minute stop over in Chester. It is situated right on the canal side in fact both sides of the canal with an adjoining internal bridge. The reception, restaurant and some rooms are one side and the gym, pool and spa along with more rooms on the other side. I...
