My GF and I stayed at the mill hotel for a city break and we were very happy with our accomodation. The hotel is centrally located and very convienient for sight seeing. Rooms are comfortable, and breakfast was very nice. Spa facilities are very nice. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Just come back from a two night stay. Our experience was wholeheartedly positive. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was more than adequate and the spa/swimming pool was great. For what we paid it was very good value for money. The room was noisy but the mill is positioned near a main road but other than that everything...

Decided to have a city break midweek for a couple of days and chose the Mill hotel in Chester. The location was one reason and price and car parking another. The hotel is situated both sides of the canal with a steel and glass footbridge connecting the the halves of the hotel. our room was the smallest on our floor...

A delightful hotel near the centre of Chester. A former Mill on the banks of the Shropshire Union Canal which has a bridge linked extension to the other side. Excellent staff, good food and the dinner on the Barge is worth taking. Convenient free parking and well furnished rooms. A pleasant spa and swimming pool. The rooms tend to be...

We arrived late Friday afternoon, and checked in quickly. Our room was very warm and stuffy, as the weather hot and sunny, but it was clean and the beds where very comfortable. We had a few drinks in the hotel bar before going out into Chester to eat, and the prices where very reasonable. It was difficult to sleep with...

Good pubs nearby on the canal. . Lovely Beauty treatments book before you arrive. Breakfast adequate but not too many healthy choices. close to city. Wifi good. carpaking if you arrive early. Ask for canal side room to avoid traffic noise. Also ask for a fan if weather is hot.

The carpet in the room was badly stained. Room was stifligly hot & there was no air conditioning in the room. With the window open it was noisy from machinery. Breakfast was very poor. The sausages were the lowest quality one could imagine and the bacon was waaay undercooked.

This is our 2nd visit to The Mill Hotel 15 years apart, and the hotel has not greatly changed. This is not a criticism, but purely an observation. The staff are friendly and very helpful and the atmosphere is the same as a remember. The rooms are furnished with traditional furniture and there is not much in the way of...

Ideal for business and leisure, good spa facility for a short weekend. would recommend. the boat trip is ok, the bar or boat food on board is very good but may not be especially be good value for money. and would...

We stayed 2 years ago in the best room, this time, it was a standard room. Clean, good size, the hotel has great amenities, spa, 5 mins walk from the centre, great bar, and car parking. Excellent breakfast, no wait. Only one problem was that we stayed in the new part (even though our booking was for the old side)...
