Worst hotel I've ever stayed in, windows broken, bare light bulb as in no shade, cold and draughty and the bed was knackered. Chester is a beautiful City please don't ruin your stay by booking here, will never return.

I have stayed at this hotel and for the price you cant complain. Location is good, the train station is over the road and Chester is just a walk away. Its a 2 star hotel so you cant expect the Ritz, however, its clean and the staff we dealt with were lovely and friendly. I cant knock it, breakfast was...

The hotel was basic but clean and essentially all my friends and myself needed! If you can look past the decor of the rooms and mismatch bathroom furniture your onto a winner! We didn't try the breakfast but the hotel is only a short walk to the city centre and a stones throw from the rail station! Should you just...

If you are looking for somewhere to woo a new date then give it a swerve. If you are looking for somewhere clean but basic then head through the doors. 40 quid for a single room on a Saturday night 10 minutes walk from the city centre and 2 minutes from the train is almost unheard of. Comfy but basic...

Quite simply this hotel is perfect if you need somewhere to stay. It's comfortable, clean, and the staff are helpful and friendly It was the best hotel for us because it was somewhere to stay while we went out and did things. But if you are expecting all your home comforts then you are booking the wrong place It does...

After looking at reviews on here me and my fella were quite nervous, but on our arrival the reception manager was so so nice, she changed our rooms to ones that had a big mirror in it (as we needed to get ready for new years eve), nothing was an inconveineve for them.. cleaner on duty (red curly hair), lovely...

The new management are doing a great job. Welcoming and accommodating we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is traditional but clean and the atmosphere is warm. I was able to park just outside as we arrived after 5pm Saturday. Would recommend the breakfast great value at £5 per head.

It was a nice hotel, nothing fancy but clean rooms and reasonably comfortable bed. Good value for money, close to the train station and nice short walk to town. Receptionist very helpful and friendly. Was also allowed to leave luggage in there for the day after check out. Would stay again.

It is located near but far enough away from the railway station so it is not affected by train noise, and it is within walking distance of the city center. My room was of typical size for the UK although the bathroom was bigger than normal. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean but dated. The public rooms...
