I have stayed at this property twice in December due to myself being an agency nurse at a nearby local hospital and my girlfriend having to give care to her grandparents nearby. The welcome is always great and you are made to feel at home instantly. The rooms are comfortable and everything you could need in an hotel. We have stayed in room 6 and room 10. Room 10 is more spacious at the front of the property and 6 is a smaller room at the side of the property. The breakfast has a great choice and there is something for everyone. Won’t stay anywhere else.

Fantastic hotel all the staff are friendly and very helpful .Especially Glynn ,Roberta and the owner Angela who made our stay feel like we were family with the relaxing and welcoming chats around the bar. The food is fantastic both the breakfast and the evening meal we both really enjoyed and the cheesecake is out of this world. We will be definitely making a return to this hotel next time we are in Chester

Lovely comfortable twin aspect room, well situated to easily walk into Chester. Great breakfast choice inc salmon & scrambled eggs. Easy free parking We were due to stay at the "Limes" but moved here by their owner due to them isolating. Good move!

Booked 2 nights for our much needed break, hotel was clean, lovely eclectic mix of furnishings, room quite small but adequate for 2 nights, the best thing about the hotel is the staff, Anna and her staff were so pleasant, helpful, informative & very attentive, plenty of choice for breakfast & we had 1 meal in the evening & both lovely. Will definately be returning & highly recommend. Thankyou Anna & all the staff for making our visit to Chester a memorable one.

I've given this hotel full marks, not because its perfect but because it is exactly what we wanted. The décor is a bit tatty, the rooms are small and the car park is a squeeze (best to reverse in or you may get stuck) and the menu limited. But the staff could not be better, the food was amazing, the best I’ve had in a hotel, the wine was good and the place oozes character. It was a bit cluttered but very clean and tidy. The communal spaces we comfortable and had a touch of class. And the team worked like a well-oiled machine, and friendly with it.
