Lovely airy and modern hotel. The rooms where spot on with everything you needed which included a fridge. The beds were a good size and really comfortable. All the staff were helpful and friendly especially Kim & Eve on reception. I didn’t eat in the hotel other than breakfast which was good and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. There is also a gym within the complex which was modern and up to date. I would definitely stop there again. There is also a large Sainsburys next door which was handy.
Great new hotel with lovely rooms that are perfect for a short break. Location is just outside Cambridge but on bus route and only 5 mins in an Uber to city. All the staff were fantastic and very friendly and service was excellent. Breakfast was good and lovely fresh ingredients used. Bed and pillows were super comfy and my only complaint would be they obviously have not got the TVs sorted as kept freezing and going off. Very impressed to turn up at 11 15 am and get room straight away 👍 Keep up the good work
Hotel was very modern rooms clean and large restaurant was very clean and food excellent.staff very friendly and helpful will be staying here again .only a 15 minute bus drive to Cambridge city centre and if you up to it a 45 minute walk
Broken air con, yet very loud like being on a sinking diesel ship all night. Leak above shower in bathroom. Leak in reception being captured by a dog bowl. Dreadful restaurant menu matched by totally woeful customer service by bar and restaurant staff, v bad for dinner stupidly returned for breakfast and somehow was even worse. Avoid.
Lovely hotel, good clean room. What a shame about the dreadful customer service in the restaurant. Customers clearly an inconvenience. Poor, slow service in the evening. At breakfast when asked for toast they initially said they couldn't do it. Then after asking for a third time they said they could and proceeded to serve one slice of cheap white supermarket bread and charge £2. This is breakfast! What does the hotel expect people would like to eat. I may add they then charged a service charge. I've never been to a hotel where the staff aren't prepared for breakfast. The cafe section which we'd been told would be open was closed, yet customers from the street appeared to be able to buy croissants, while hotel guests seemed unable to have anything resembling a continental breakfast. Appalling. To add to this the staff had not cleared up from the night before. Dirty cups in the foyer and a dog bowl collecting drips in the entrance. Will be emailing direct to complain. A real shame. Could have been an excellent stay.…
