We come to Cambridge to celebrate a special occasion and we arrived at the hotel and was greeted by Nicole and informed us we was guessed of the day! Highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Cambridge, great location (short walk to city centre), helpfully and friendly staff, food and pool area was amazing. Great for a couples getaway!
We had a very nice long weekend at this new property and from the checking in until we left the staff were very friendly, welcoming and service minded. This addition to the Hilton brand is one to be proud of, very tasteful design and décor. The rooms which are mostly prepared for self catering are very well equipped; especially if you're staying for a few days. A little minus for people doing their hair, there are no plugs in the bathroom for the hairdryer or other appliances except an electric shaver. I am confident this will be very popular with parents and family visiting students at the universities in town. Walking distance into town with restaurants and cafes on the way. The breakfast served on the weekend was buffet style and all produce was high quality. Seemed to struggle a bit with keeping up demand and some items were also unfortunately a bit cold. Good choice and quality coffee from machines. Great pastries but would recommend doing something with the bread selection as this is a let down with only sliced supermarket bread available. On the weekdays the buffet style breakfast isn't available and its table service only. I fully understand this but would suggest guests can get their own drinks as we had to wait for a long time to get refills as only one person was available in the morning. Again the team working here was great and always helpful. Overall a great stay but I think F&B needs tweaking and possibly reviewing prices in the restaurant.…
Only a 20-30 min walk to city very clean tidy good pool Sauna & steam room room was a good size with all you need maybe a bottle of water and more milk Breakfast was good the Quality and flavours were good could just be a bit hotter we went down at 8am and it was warm not hot you do have to pay for parking at £21 for the day but they do have 14 EV charging points if you need them. We was a bit disappointed that the restaurant was closed on bank holiday Monday because they opened on the Sunday instead
We stayed from the 1st to 2nd of May this holiday. The hotel itself is a pleasant hotel . And facilities were up to the standards We were looking for! But unfortunately the fact we couldn't check into our room until nearly 7pm! Because the room wasn't ready. Was simply just not good enough! Causing us to miss our dinner reservation! We then booked yet another dinner. And we missed that again because we was let down by taxi companies. We do not know wether this was the taxi companies fault. Or the hotels fault as we gave them 45 minutes notice to order us one. So yet again missing our last dinner reservation! All in all pretty disappointed with this as a whole. We was compensated. In a minor Manor. But that didn't even cover the costs of what was spent in the bar waiting for our room to be ready! .it's a shame because the hotel is a very nice and elegant hotel!…
Lovely hotel at a great price. We really liked the apartment style rooms which worked well with our kids as we could prepare meals in the room. Lovely shower, modern rooms. Reception were very efficient. About ab15 minutes walk into the heart of Cambridge. Recommend.
