The best things about room 12 were: the cleanliness of the room; good shower; good location for railway station, shops, city centre & bus route. However, the room presentation was a bit "wonky" and a bit noisy. And my tariff did not include breakfast (£80 per night). My key criticism is reserved for the owner - the staff I encountered...

Room was average and the staff were great! Only down side was that the wifi was not working which was a real shame. It was near the train station and city centre which is great. 5 minute walk from train station and ten from town

I was in Cambridge on business and I had to find myself a hotel room at the last minute (or, to be precise, a few days before). For some unclear reason most of the hotels in the town were fully booked, so I ended up grabbing a rather expensive family room here (£100 a night). This is where I might...

I had booked a room in the Bridge Guest House in November, but when I arrived, the receptionist told me that I had cancelled my room, which I had not. She spent half an hour trying to find the evidence of my room cancellation but obvious could not as I never cancelled my room. The receptionist's attitude was extremely rude,...

Having just returned from Dubai, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur and stayed in the HIlton, Shangri-la, Marriot and Sofitel, the freshly cooked breakfast in the Bridge beats them all - and then some. And the genuinely friendly service beats all the bowing, scraping and ingratiating of posher hotels. The rooms may be less cavernous but they serve the purpose beautifully...

Turned up and the owner had popped down to Tesco to get a coffee! Over text we were told to use the 'key under the egg cup' Once in the room was in an okay state. The beds had been changed the floor had been hovered and the TV worked. The bathroom was tiny and it was literally just a...

£420 for 4 nghts in a guest house that is clean friendly but very basic-charging London prices during the folk festival .When the lady owner is in charge of breakfast it's fine but when her partner is in charge he hasn't got a clue-he won't write orders down and gets himself confused and guests fed up. Think the prices need...

Stayed two nights at Bridge guest house. Simone was very helpful. Room was clean. Adequate towels for three. Bathroom a bit small but bearable since you don't spend a lot of time there. Location was good. About 30 min to town and 15 min to train station. Overall I would stay here again.

I have just returned from a weekend in Cambridge and we stayed at the Bridge Guest House. It was perfect for what we wanted - we were able to walk in to the city if we wanted and a taxi ride didn't break the bank if we didn't! Our room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The fact...
