Really lovely Guest House with great staff and fantastic breakfast. We stayed in a Kingsize double room at the A & B Guest House for four days whilst visiting Cambridge. Our friends didn't book in time to get in to the same Guest House and ended up staying down the road in another Guest House. They were really jealous of...

If you are on a tight budget and look for very basic facilities (just a warm bedroom and cooked breakfast ) along with private (en suite) bathroom around the city centre of Cambridge, this is perhaps the cheapest option. It is located just the opposite of Youth Hostel. Train station and National Express Bus terminus are within 10 minute's walking...

To start of, I haven't stayed at the hotel. But I do want to share my bad experience with trying to book a room. Initially I sent a reservation enquiry by e-mail. I got a response on which I possitivily responded with a confirmation that I would like to book the room. The owner asked me for full credit card...

I am responding to this review but really don't agree with it being posted at all. There was four days between the initial enquiry and several emails and couple of telephone calls. On the initial enquiry and subsequent emails, the guest was informed that to guarantee the booking a credit card is required, until that is supplied the reservation is...

From the moment I arrived at A&B Guesthouse I felt at home. The front desk manager is an absolute delight, going out of her way to help visitors. The rooms are cleaned daily, and the breakfast is fantastic. The location is ideal - only a short stroll into the city centre, and just around the corner from the train station...

A little tardy with my review having stayed here nearly a year ago but my memories are all good. This guesthouse is well located (walking distance to most things - especially the railway which links to both Stansted and London) and the staff were amazing. So long since our stay and my memory for names is poor but all the...

Lena makes you feel right at home with her congenial hospitality and attention to details as soon as you enter. The rooms were very neat and well furnished. The hotel has a real quaint and warm feel to it, and it is ideally located near the station and 10 min by foot to city centre. The breakfast was tasty and...

Very nice B&B, right near the station, bit of a walk to town, Helpful staff, small but nice room and a lovely cooked breakfast, exactly what we needed for our stay.

This guesthouse actually situated strategically for Cambridge town centre. And it is not pricey for its standard. Clean room, good service and a satisfying breakfast! Surprisingly it can be quite noisy early in the morning, as it is situated by the end Tenison Road and off Hills Road, and many people use the road as a 'bypass'. Also free wi-fi.

We stayed here for two nights. Although quite small, the room and bathroom were very clean and we slept well. The breakfasts were good. Its very convenient being within walking distance from the station. We walked to the centre of Cambridge each day but next time I think I'll hire a bicycle.

The service I received at the A&B Guest House was very good and all of the staff were very friendly. Although I arrived late to check out of my room the staff were understanding, professional and polite. The room I stayed in was very cosy with a small flat-screen TV, a comfortable bed, a bedside table, a hair dryer, a...

“My favourites are rooms 8, 9, 10 (in the roof) and 11 (ground floor), but I think all the doubles are of a good standard. If needing to economise and don't need a desk then choose a single.”
