We stayed here for a short break. We were out and about exploring Cambridge most of the time, so really only needed somewhere to rest our heads. Our room was tiny with twin beds in it and the wardrobe was a cupboard where there was also an ironing board and iron and some sort of stool so it was difficult...

On arrival was greeted by friendly and extremely helpful staff. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent value for money. Breakfast was very good. We stayed in hotel for dinner in the evening, at an excellent rate, for a very good meal. Would certainly recommend this hotel and will definitely visit again.

Stayed here for two night and was struck by the standard of cleanliness. The standard of the cooked breakfast was very high with the most enormous tasty sausages. Well within walking distance of central Cambridge it was an excellent stop for this short break. Thank you for the excellent service!

Ample free car parking which isn't easy to find in cambridge. Also near the rail station. Very friendly helpful staff. Rooms are dated but comfortable and our room at the back was nice and quiet. Free wifi. Inclusive breakfast of packets of cereals and english breakfast cooked to order. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Around 20 minutes...

I really liked this hotel. As others have already pointed out, the decor is a little dated but it is spotless and definitely has a certain charm. The bedroom was comfy, clean and the sheets were snowy white. It had everything that you would need; tea/coffee facilities, toiletries etc all good. The only thing I found odd was that there...

Good stay at this hotel, rooms clean and well presented, although decor a little dated. Staff very helpful and good choice for breakfast. Own car park is a real bonus, stairs a little steep for elderly or infirm,

Good solid clean basic hotel near station and 15 mins walk to centre. Rooms a little old fashioned but that is fine. Good bathroom. Bit noisy as Hills road busy! Breakfast hot and fine( except for tasteless vegetarian sausage, but what did I expect?). Used by academics and people in education a lot I feel. Will return. Very friendly staff...

The Centennial gives a pleasant welcome each time I visit. The staff are warm are friendly, the rooms cosy and the traditional food tasty and plentiful. Being a short walk from the station and the town centre means saving on taxis. Check-in and check-out are always quick and efficient.

The room was in a complete time warp and very noisy . In fairness they offered to change it but the alternative was like a dungeon . In its favour the bathroom was spotless and the staff were very helpful The worst point was breakfast, which was included but nobody told us and there was no information in the room...

Dear Sir I'm very sorry that you feel the need to make a complaint. The free Wi-Fi details together with the breakfast times were clearly printed on your 'Keycard' that was handed to you when you checked in together with your room key. The Receptionist who checked-you in also brought the breakfast and restaurant serving times to your attention. Finally,...
