The hotel is a little tired in interior decor but perfectly adequate. Parking is difficult, as it is in the whole of Cambridge. I did not see details of the extra parking charge on the website. Booking on the Internet proved to be very difficult. A simple mistake was rectified eventually by the easy to book website but a direct...

We booked the University Arms for a quiet week end in lovely Cambridge. On their web site the hotel boasts some rooms with four poster beds, and I asked for one of these when booking. On arrival we were told we could not have one for the first night, but only for the second. Next day we were told to bring...

Enjoyed our weekend in Cambridge. Large room with all the facilities you would expect from a £150 room. Great breakfast. Helpful staff.

Stayed with a family, and its a fab hotel, rooms lovely etc. After we had booked we were informed of an additional £20 charge per cot, and this was in a family room. This is most unusual, and we have never had to pay a 'cot supplement' before. Thankfully, we objected before arrival and the charge was waived, but only...

My wife and I arrived on Friday evening for a long weekend in the City of Cambridge. We had a lovely room overlooking the famous open space called Parker's Piece. The room was spotlessly clean, tidy, large and well equipped with plenty of space to put our things and to relax. The double bed was particularly comfortable. There was a...

The slight negatives were that the room we stayed in was quite small and dimly lit, but as we walked past other rooms as they were being cleaned it was clear that the rooms come in varying sizes and depending the side of the hotel you stay will determine how bright or dark your room is. The bed was extremely...

Dear RaulMeireles, Thank you for your kind review. I am very happy that you had such a delightful stay and enjoyed our varied breakfast buffet. As you mentioned Car Parking in Cambridge can be on the pricey side - although our £16.00 charge per night is very competitively priced for our location. Thank you once again. We stayed here because of its close proximity to the centre of Cambridge. First impressions were positive with friendly staff, the room on the other hand was on the small size for a double. On closer inspection though, we found at some point the room was a single room. They have all you need though with a decent bed, good...

Was firstly positioned in a squashed room at the front of the hotel over a really noisy road (Friday nights are clearly busy in Cambridge) The AC didnt work properly so I was torn between being boiling and being kept awake by revellers. My fiance and I stayed at the Cambridge Arms in early February and chose it for the proximity to the town centre and the colleges.
