We stopped here the night, whilst visiting local family. Firstly I have to say the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The bar / restaurant area was clean and inviting as perhaps you would expect in an old style pub. However this has the potential to change very quickly. You...

This was a meal for just the two of us. The pub/hotel is out in the countryside so the location and general look of the building was very nice. I was surprised how few people were in the pub having a meal, so that always concerns me. However, the meal came within a reasonable time and the food was very...

I visited as part of a weekend away, walking around the Chilterns. My room was large and very clean, with a bath (rare luxury in hotels) and a good supply of tea and coffee. The wifi is really fast and easy to connect to as well. We ate in the restaurant and the food was the highest quality. I would...

I went here with work for our Christmas meal. When we arrived the place was empty which I found a little disconcerting on a Friday night just before Christmas. There where 8 of us and we had booked, so they knew we were coming. The menu I found limited, not like the last time I went and staff although friendly...

People say 'You get what you pay for' but this isn't particularly cheap for an out of town pub. Rooms are outdated but big, but carpets and furniture has all seen better days, all looks a bit old and worn out. Bathroom not particularly clean either. All PAT electrical testing out of date with damaged sockets evident. Windows not too...

Visited the Tree at Cadmore recently. The bar area and restaurant are welcoming and the food was pretty good too. The rooms however could do with a good refurbishment, as it is like entering the 70's/80s when you leave the bar. The room i stayed in was large and was clean. But the orange bathroom suit tells you everything along...

My favourite place in this area, whenever I come near by this place I make sure I visit this place. The staff is so welcoming and the food is excellent all the time. Love the selection of the beers and ales they have. I wish I could move near by this tree hotel so, I can enjoy the best food...

I totally agree with the last review written. The hotel looks fine from the outside, although old bed mattresses and rubbish immediately outside, is a sign of a lack of attention. I was lucky in that my room had a great deal of space, the bed was comfortable, and although the bathroom was dated, the shower worked perfectly fine. The...
