The staff at this hotel were lovey, helpful and welcoming with a smile The room was clean comfy and perfect for me. Loved the round window. The view wasn't the best, but I wasn't there for a view. Would recommend this hotel.
My partner and I recently stayed with our baby , perfect location for access to Bristol Children’s Hospital. The check in was quick and easy, and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Room was adequate for our short stay, very clean and comfortable, with a cot supplied free of charge. Unbelievably quiet given the location , the windows were certainly soundproof! Would recommend and would happily stay here again if needed.
The hotel was the usual good standard of Premier Inn, with extra measures for Covid like contactless check in and hand sanitizer stations. The breakfast at the Brewers Fayre, attached to the hotel, was disappointing but there was due to bad communication about the serving times rather than the food or drinks
The reception staff are young and very pleasant and polite. The room service staff are also friendly and helpful. The rooms are triple glazed so there is no noise from the street. My room was clean and modern. The lifts are fast. Only slight con is no parking, not even a drop off place, but Rupert Street NCP is close by which is about 20 pounds for overnight parking (with the hotel discount). It is very close to the bus and coach station...less than 300 meters. If you are an international student the national express coach picks up at all of Heathrow's terminals and drops off here. Centrally located and well situated for seeing Bristol on foot and the university.
We have stayed at this hotel before and booked here to stay with our friends for a few days to show them around Bristol. The check in was easy, but there was only one pillow each and a lack of coffee. We asked for more pillows and coffee, which was not a problem and quickly delivered to our room. However we struggled to sleep, as the air con kept switching off and was told by reception that they could reset it for us so it would not go off, this this was not sorted despite two requests and had to resort to fan on our third and final night. The pillows were not the most comfy, so our “good night guaranteed” didn’t happen. We found the staff promised to sort this out, but didn’t actually sort it.
