We stayed overnight in an accessible room. Prior to our visit I emailed with some access questions and was very impressed that Mark arranged for photos to be sent to me. The room was very comfortable and spacious and my needs were met.

Bad: Sadly it doesn't has a bathtub with such a big bathroom, one of the towel has dark brown dirt on it, disgusting... Good: Breakfast is good with lots of choices, love that we can make the waffle! The room is quite big, bed sheet and blanket is silky and soft. Bathroom is big with good amenities.

Dear dedebbiek, Thank you for taking the time to share feedback following your recent stay with us here at the Hampton by Hilton Bristol City Centre hotel. Firstly, we are delighted to read that you found our complimentary Hampton breakfast to be good with lots of choice and in particular, the waffle station. It's also great to see you felt your assigned room was large, the bedding comfortable and the bathroom large with good amenities. Please accept our sincerest apologies with regards to the matter of your towel. Rest assured, we have shared your comments with our laundry specialists and our executive housekeeper to review with his team. Hopefully this matter would not deter you from choosing to stay with us again at some point in the not so distant future. Regards Mark Keeley-Swistek Deputy General Manager

The lack of staff resources at check in and in bar for ordering food led to large question of f unhappy customers. Also there were only two ordering points for food and drink and the staff were not capable of handling the volume on the night. Should get some training from Weatherspoons who can manage ordering and pouring drinks no problem.

Shower backed up immediately and staff showed no interest in addressing my concern until I went down to Reception after 40 minutes and asked why no one had come to my room to fix the problem as promised. In the end, I asked for a plunger and fixed it myself.

Dear tonygP1326TR, Thanks for taking the time to share feedback following your recent stay with us here at the Hampton by Hilton Bristol City Centre hotel. Firstly, I am very sorry to hear about the maintenance issue experienced with your shower. Whilst we do conduct routine maintenance of all public and guest areas, it is not always possible to identify faults upon a visual inspection and I can only apologise for any inconvenience or frustration caused. Rest assured that this is not the standard we strive to deliver and I have shared your comments with both our Housekeeping and Maintenance teams to review and investigate. We often receive very positive comments about our hotel team and so I was very surprised that you felt that they were disrespectful and showed no interest in addressing the matter at hand. Rest assured, this is certainly not the standard that we strive to deliver here at Hampton as we pride ourselves upon our customer service. Following an investigation with the Manager on Duty that day, it is evident that the front desk was very busy at the time of your phone call and due to a genuine human error, the note of your room number was misplaced which was why she was so-delayed in coming up to your room to resolve the issue. She is mortified that you felt she had disrespected you and sends her sincerest apologies. In closing, I am very sorry that your stay was disappointing and hope that you would not be deterred from choosing to stay with us again at some point in the not so distant future. Kind Regards Mark Keeley-Swistek Deputy General Manager

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night on the 21st April and what a pleasure it was ! We arrived at 12 midday and we were told check in wasn't until 3pm . We asked if we could drop our luggage which I am pleased to say was not an issue this was very impressive and the young girl behind reception was extremely helpful and professional this was a fantastic start to our stay. On finally being allocated room 227 I can confirm that this was extremely clean and surprisingly spacious . I had read previous reviews saying the breakfast was very poor and the shower was substandard well all I can say is that they must of reviewed a different hotel because I don't think I have seen more food at breakfast in my life and I have travelled to lots of places including America where they know how to eat !! All in all a very comfortable and relaxing stay and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend and stay again in a heartbeat
