The meeting was quite difficult to set up, requiring four emails to get an invoice that covered both the room and the lunch. We booked the room from 12-5pm, with participants travelling to Bristol from Wales and the far South West. Due to cancelled train and a car accident, all the participants arrived about 45 minutes late. When we arrived,...

Hotel is clean and comfortable. All areas of the hotel are very well maintained and seems to be very well run. The staff are friendly and professional. The rooms are the standard Holiday Inn Express style. Nicely decorated and not showing any visible signs of wear and tear. Breakfast is adequate for a couple of days stay and it is...

I'd never stayed in a Holiday Inn before but for some reason my expectations were low. I was staying here as I had business nearby and so it was convenient. Check in was easy, and the staff were polite. I was asked whether I wanted a room higher up or lower down and being a lone female I requested higher...

I was pleased with my stay, hotel was clean comfortable and well organised. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Staff worked hard and were helpful. The only drawback is the lack of food availability apart from breakfast, but that was made up for by the pub/restaurant right next to it. (The Fox den) The the food was excellent value. We...

Near to University of the West of England so ideal if visiting students there. Across the road from a retail park so several places to eat apart from the hotel restaurant/bar. Pub/ restaurant adjacent with reasonably priced meals. Generally quiet, but can have large coach tours staying there so breakfast room can get overcrowded at times

At almost £100/night, this isn't the cheapest hotel around, but I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed my three night stay. I stayed here only one night, between leaving Edinburgh, Scotland, and traveling between Cardiff, Wales, and London, England.
