I recently stayed at this hotel whilst on business. I would normally stay at other hotels but fully booked so thought I would try this one. Small hotel situated in the Clifton area of Bristol and close to shops and restaurants. Staff are friendly and offered assistance with luggage. Old style hotel with lots of stairs and the room that... More

We had a top floor room which was really cosy with sloped ceilings. The décor and furnishing was modern and the room was clean. The bathroom was small and I couldn't stand up in shower due to a low ceiling but that's a minor downsize to what was a great room. Good value for money and some of the friendliest... More

Stayed for 1 week with work. Room was 7ft wide so don't expect a big room, far from it!!!! It was tiny!!! Free parking spaces- however only 5 for the 40 rooms, so expect to park down a dark street somewhere near !!!!! If you can find a space!!! If you get a room on the back take your earplugs... More

Booked The Regency for one night mainly because of its convenience and location. The Regency is several houses merged together to make the hotel. It still has the features of the original houses. Our room (supposedly a double room) was tiny and we could only just about move around the bed. The bathroom was also tiny with a shower and... More

Nice little hotel in the Clifton area of Bristol. Positives: 20 minute walk from zoo & main city centre. Plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and things to do/see close by. Very friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable and clean room. Negatives; Parking is very difficult in this area (we were lucky though & grabbed the one remaining space on the hotels driveway).... More

Had a couple of nights here. Parking could have been tricky but we got lucky with spaces. We also had a room not too high up the hotel, of a decent size and fairly looked recently decorated. Staff we all friendly so we have no complaints.

We booked the family room so it was quite big. The bathroom however was small and the sink was tiny. There was only a shower so it was hard to bathe our baby. Their breakfast is limited so we decided to eat at the opposite one and they had a nice buffet breakfast, which was only slightly more expensive. The... More

I booked this hotel as I was visiting the Bristol Balloon Fiesta and I wished to stay within walking distance. It is very convenient for exploring Clifton and the city centre. I booked a single room with shared bathroom and it was lovely - very clean and a good sized room. The staff were very friendly. The 8/9 bus from... More

I should have read all the previous reviews before booking. Parking was difficult. 4 flights of steep stairs painful. The double room was small, when the wardrobe door was open, the bathroom was not accessible. There were no towel rails. The kettle would not fit under the bathroom tap, plastic glasses had to be used to fill it. The only... More
