We stayed here for one night as we were going to the Bristol v Wasps rugby match (there's a shuttle bus that picks you up right outside the pub.) Our room was clean and spacious, although it was a bit noisy as it was right at the front, on the road - and it could have done with some blinds...

The pub has very nice decor inside, very friendly, helpful staff. The beer selection is excellent, good wine and fever tree mixers. We have just stayed overnight with my octagenarian mother. The rooms were very comfortable and well equipped, the stairs could be a problem for those who are not nimble. Breakfast had a great selection and again the staff...

Choose this hotel as very close to family. Very friendly staff and clean room, nicely decorated and quiet. The bathroom was a good size, I would have preferred a walk in shower as the bath was deep and we did struggle to step in and out also the water did not go down quickly,! So you stood in ankle deep...

I have always thought of the Wellington as an after rugby or football venue morphing into a more cosmopolitan pub in the evening. However, following a visit with my wife on an early friday evening (we arrived around 6pm) and after being shown to a cosy table for two in the restaurant area we sat down expecting the usual pub...

This is a really lovely pub/hotel. The evening food is fabulous, and the rooms are very nice considering the price. The only downside is that the breakfast service is very slow, and the service isn't very attentive. The focus is very much on being a (very good) pub, but it takes so long to pay and eat in the morning...

Visited today 18th March with friends and we decided to order food as we had ate here previously and it had been good, could not fault the service if a little slow getting drinks but we ordered our food and 2 of our mains came out and we had to wait a few maybe 5 minutes for the other 2...

First visit to the pub , the atmosphere was good , ordered a burger with extra onion rings for a £1 extra . The burger arrived with two small onion rings, I ask the waiter that "this is the most expensive onion rings I have ever paid for" before I finished , the waiter runs to the kitchen to bring...
