Great location for walking around Clifton or down to harbour area. Also on no 8 bus route to station. Charming and unhurried. Chandeliers in the breakfast room and classy hand soap and shower gel. The staff were so giving and patient. The breakfast had lots of choices. Especially liked the bowls of fresh fruit salad. Will return for sure

The staff were nothing but rude. Would not recommend to anyone. Food was awful. Noisy rooms. Showers were awful. Over priced. Can not express how rude the staff were. So disgusting!!!!!!! Can't believe the staff. Disgusting service, should all be sacked!!!!

Well located , clean and nicely furnished room overlooking Square. Receptionist not very welcoming... No eye contact, smile etc when booking in , no asking if stay was ok etc on leaving . Breakfast was not bad , poached eggs were disappointing... microwaved , and bacon a bit dry . Would recommend though .

I visited this hotel as part of a trip to Bristol.. obviously. We were immediately disappointed on arrival when the receptionist seemed to have her mouth full and her mind in a cloud of dreams. We were early and was allowed to leave my car there while we explored which was a plus. The room was very nice and relatively...

We stayed one night for a brief catch-up with friends. Room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived too early to check in but they were more than happy to store our bags until later.

We stayed at the Victoria Square hotel overnight when visiting family. We arrived and were informed we had been upgraded - always good! The room was comfortable and clean and we slept very well. Breakfast was served in a very pleasant dining room. We had the continental breakfast and it was the usual hotel offering of fruits, bread and cereal....

After giving this hostelry a 2nd chance after a previous visit with a number of issues; we were put in the roof in the noisiest room I have experienced in any establishment; I am massively disappointed. We were offered an upgrade, a complimentary wine on arrival and breakfast. The room was in the adjacent building and was huge, considering it...

We only stayed for one night, for the price it wasn't bad. The reception staff were very polite and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was dinner and breakfast that let the place down. We were the only ones in the breakfast room and it felt a bit like a doctors waiting room. I'm not...

The hotel is in a good location in Clifton which is now quite a trendy part of Bristol. Entrance to the hotel car park is extremely tight so watch your wing mirrors on the pillars! Parking is £5.00 per night which is reasonable as walkable to local bars/restaurants and boutique shops in village. My room was well appointed and lovely...

What a cost hotel. I didn't know what to expect, but after a friendly greeting and efficient check in we were given room 207 on the first floor. I'd asked for a quiet room because of my sons audition the following day, and was pleased that the room was at the back. It was a large twin, and beds were...
