The friendliness of the owners of Kensington Hill Guest House is what made my stay here a memorable one. Whilst it's not the most modern guest house I've ever stayed in, the rooms were spotless and very spacious. There is ample parking and the breakfast was lovely. The owners made us feel very welcome, and nothing was too much trouble.

Hotel is situated on the busy road, but on the decent distance from it, inside the yard, so you don't hear any noice; on the other hand - we had a wonderful base for the bus trips to Bristol, Bath and , very cosy, like being the old citizens of this area. Just go outside, jump on the city bus...

We stayed at this guest house for four nights. The owner met us and was extremely welcoming, and made us feel at home right away. Our room was big, very clean and comfortable. Bath & hand towels as well as bath maths were all provided. The bathroom was spotless. We were also able to use the free wifi, which worked...

If you don't mind staying at a very basic no frills establishment then this would do. I did not do my homework, i.e. look on Tripadvisor first before booking like I normally do as it was a last minute rushed trip. The room I had was a twin at the front of the house. The sheets on the beds were...

We had a few issues with the booking. It was made by a family member several weeks in advance, who then called back a few days before we arrived to confirm, only to find that there was no record. Thankfully they were still able to get us in, but this could have been a serious problem for us if we...

We stayed 1 night at the Kensignton Hill Guest House. We were welcomed as soon as we got there and advised where to park which was round the back of the hotel, the area where we parked was not fenced in but I still felt that the car was safe The room we had was clean, well presented and comfortable....

We stayed in this b&b for 1 night, it was the only one that still had vacancies among 40 others. We were suprisingly satisfied to have a clean, big and cosy room and a real English breakfast for such a price. The bathroom was correct too, even if the door couldn't be closed. It is 30-35 minutes walk from the...

I called up to make a reservation 5 days prior to wanting to stay and explained that I would be arriving later into the evening and that wasn't a problem. I then get a phone call 2 days prior to staying to confirm I was still wanting to stay and to confirm the details. I call up on the day...
