Highly recommended hotel if you want to spend some quality time in Bristol and have access to all the amenities offered by the clifton area. I stayed just one night with my girlfriend and we were delighted by the service offered. The staff was amazing and the customer service delivered was brilliant. The room was extremely comfortable, very tidy and clean. We also tried the breakfast and we have been positively surprised. We will definitely go back.

Dear MarioiraM85, Thank you for leaving your wonderful review with us. I am delighted to hear how much you enjoyed your stay with your girlfriend back in October and that you managed to explore the Clifton area from our prime location! We are very proud to give every guest excellent customer service. It is something we pride ourselves on! I am also glad you found the room comfortable and very clean. Lucy, our House Manager, and her team work very hard to provide a very high standard of cleanliness. I am delighted that you also enjoyed your breakfast in No 4 Clifton Village! It is a really excellent quality breakfast, but for an affordable price- great value for money! We look forward to welcoming you back again to stay in the future! For the best prices always book directly with us! Best wishes Lizzie

My girlfriend and I stayed in the Rodney for two nights on a short staycation to Bristol. We picked the Rodney based on its proximity to Clifton Village and we were not disappointed, short walks to all the lovely bars, restaurants and shops that the area has to offer. A short walk to the suspension bridge for incredible views over the city. Our room was very clean and tidy with a super comfy bed, breakfast was delicious and fairly priced. The staff were super helpful, warm and professional. Next time we return to Bristol we will definitely stay again.

On arrival room wasn't ready so I went to grab some lunch, I was allocated room 15 on entry I have never seen such a tiny hotel room in all my life and the space was ridiculous....the single bed in the corner was so uncomfortable I couldn't sleep all night. In the morning I requested whether could take my breakfast in my room which they said no I have to eat downstairs, now bare in mind my room cost £58 with breakfast included, the room I was given I would say was worth £35.00. I don't rate it at all and the bathroom honestly the seals were black in places, I wish I had booked in premier inn. I've never been to a hotel that charges £58 and you get a single bed in the tiniest room.

Dear 379manjeetd, I am sorry to read that you were disappointed with your recent stay with us. Being part of a lovely Victorian building does mean that our room sizes can vary in size and shape, however we have designed each room with comfort and practicality in mind and our reception team are available 24h and they are always happy to offer you an alternative room if the one you have been preallocated does not encounter your expectations. I am surprised to hear that you were unhappy with the pricing of this single room, however I will follow this up to ensure that we are continually offering the best possible rates. I hope I was able to reassure you that I take all guest feedback extremely seriously and, as I said over the phone, I have now introduced the grab and go breakfast to make sure that all guests have the possibility to have their breakfast if they dodn't want to eat in the restaurant. I hope you will give us another chance to stay with us again in the future in order to rectify your experience. Please don’t hesitate to email me on fabiola.tomeo@cliftonhotels.com if you would like to discuss this or any future stays further. All the best, Fabiola

We stayed here for just the one night, however wished it was longer. From the moment we checked in we knew it was a lovely hote,l the staff during our stay were just great ,Tor,Hannah,Tash and Ciabi really made a difference and gave some great advice on where to go in the town to eat and visit. Spotlessly clean, very central in Clifton for all the tourist spots ,Car parking outside the hotel is chargeable but it is fully explained on booking. The full English breakfast was delicious Very dog friendly and we had a ground floor room which was very spacious. As previously mentioned the hotel is great for visiting the tourist spots in the is lovely town (one tip visit the white lion for a beer and a wine on the terrace for the most fabulous view of the bridge If all hotels could be like this ! Thank you

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at the Rodney hotel. We had a lovely view from our top floor room. Victoria on reception went above and beyond to make our stay the best it can be. Although we didn't stay for food, we did have cocktails in the downstairs bar, the lady behind the bar, I didn't catch her name, was also super helpful and made us some lovely cocktails. I would 100% stay here again and recommend to anyone else wishing to visit Bristol.
