Highly recommended hotel if you want to spend some quality time in Bristol and have access to all the amenities offered by the clifton area. I stayed just one night with my girlfriend and we were delighted by the service offered. The staff was amazing and the customer service delivered was brilliant. The room was extremely comfortable, very tidy and clean. We also tried the breakfast and we have been positively surprised. We will definitely go back.
My girlfriend and I stayed in the Rodney for two nights on a short staycation to Bristol. We picked the Rodney based on its proximity to Clifton Village and we were not disappointed, short walks to all the lovely bars, restaurants and shops that the area has to offer. A short walk to the suspension bridge for incredible views over the city. Our room was very clean and tidy with a super comfy bed, breakfast was delicious and fairly priced. The staff were super helpful, warm and professional. Next time we return to Bristol we will definitely stay again.
On arrival room wasn't ready so I went to grab some lunch, I was allocated room 15 on entry I have never seen such a tiny hotel room in all my life and the space was ridiculous....the single bed in the corner was so uncomfortable I couldn't sleep all night. In the morning I requested whether could take my breakfast in my room which they said no I have to eat downstairs, now bare in mind my room cost £58 with breakfast included, the room I was given I would say was worth £35.00. I don't rate it at all and the bathroom honestly the seals were black in places, I wish I had booked in premier inn. I've never been to a hotel that charges £58 and you get a single bed in the tiniest room.
We stayed here for just the one night, however wished it was longer. From the moment we checked in we knew it was a lovely hote,l the staff during our stay were just great ,Tor,Hannah,Tash and Ciabi really made a difference and gave some great advice on where to go in the town to eat and visit. Spotlessly clean, very central in Clifton for all the tourist spots ,Car parking outside the hotel is chargeable but it is fully explained on booking. The full English breakfast was delicious Very dog friendly and we had a ground floor room which was very spacious. As previously mentioned the hotel is great for visiting the tourist spots in the is lovely town (one tip visit the white lion for a beer and a wine on the terrace for the most fabulous view of the bridge If all hotels could be like this ! Thank you…
My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at the Rodney hotel. We had a lovely view from our top floor room. Victoria on reception went above and beyond to make our stay the best it can be. Although we didn't stay for food, we did have cocktails in the downstairs bar, the lady behind the bar, I didn't catch her name, was also super helpful and made us some lovely cocktails. I would 100% stay here again and recommend to anyone else wishing to visit Bristol.
