This beautiful and welcoming house was the perfect setting for our weekend in Bristol. With its shuttered windows, huge comfortable bed and total absence of traffic noise, we slept blissfully. I loved the fact that our room was filled with interesting pictures, ornaments, books, fresh flowers and a very generous hospitality tray. Breakfast was a treat with a lovely choice... More

This was a wonderful visit, the rooms are all unique with retro design and antique furniture, very spacious, lots of books, bibles and other things to read - I love that bit about it as don't like watching television. Breakfast is top notch with all the different jams in the world you could want to choose and lovely owners. Defintely... More

Having spent a very long day driving across the UK, I was relieved and very pleasantly surprised at the warm welcome I recieved by Mrs Macdonald. I was greeted with a lovely cup of tea and shown to my room where a super kingsize bed greeted me. The bed was covered with a big fluffy duvet and wonderfully soft pillows,... More

I have been coming to Park House for over 30 years and staying there has always been a delight. The rooms are well furnished, good sized and delightful. The beds are large and comfortable. Delia provides a very warm welcome and an excellent breakfast. The off street parking with locked gates is a real bonus. Altogether, it is just what... More

Although I live in Bristol I was eager to find a B & B close by which I felt would be comfortable, immaculately clean, yummy breakfast and above all friendly and welcoming for my family to stay in when they visit me. Mrs. Macdonald provided all the above and more. Nothing was too much trouble. My father particularly appreciated the... More

Unfortunately we did not find Mrs M as welcoming and helpful as previous reviewers. In fact we found her brusque to the point of rudeness from the start. It would have been nice, after a very long, hot, bothersome journey to have received a smile, introduction and welcome on arrival. We didn’t. We were however, told in no uncertain terms,... More

A wonderful place to stay - a beautiful house, with lovely furnishings, large comfortable bedroom with a very comfortable bed, quiet, clean and an extremely good breakfast. If I need somewhere to stay in Bristol again, I will definitely try to stay here again!

Not much to add to the other 5 star reviews. The gated entrance and grandness of the house make it feel special. Mrs Macdonald is very helpful. The rooms are clean and very spacious. The bed linen is good quality. The breakfast is typical english: bacon, sausage, tomato, mushroom, eggs, toast. There is also a selection of cereals and spread... More
