We got a very competitive deal for a big room (room number 621) and really enjoyed our long weekend stay. Bed was very comfy, room warm and no noise- the only bad thing is the view, being up so high we hoped for a river view but we got office blocks! No worries though. Shower admittedly was a little weak...

At the discounted rate this hotel, was great value and very comfortable. We stayed 1 night, for a Theatre trip to Bristol in July. We didn't eat in the hotel, as there are loads of places to eat within easy walking distance. The breakfast would have been very expensive, which would have obviates the hotel deal. But, again, there are lots...

Stayed here during the waterfront festival and had a superb weekend. The hotel is a great location for central Bristol tourism or business. The rooms were of a good standard and breakfast also very good considering the size of the dining room. Highly recommended for a weekend break arriving by train or car in the centre of Bristol.

Mercure hotels seem unable to operate outside of their processes to meet customer needs. I have tried to change my reservation for 3 nights at this hotel to the other Mecure hotel in Bristol. I have spoken via Expedia with the hotel, I have spoken directly to central bookings and their customer service department. All fail to be flexible in...

Nice, bit quirky, clean hotel. Good location but that does mean noisy revellers even on a Thursday night. Don't bother paying extra for the river view. We did and just got a tree right outside the window. No river in view. Fine overall though and would stay there again.

Had a fab spa day here on the weekend. Treatments were great and the therapists were very good and professional. The relaxation room was great and the drinks facilities were good even though the coffee machine wasn't working properly. The only bad point is that we had booked through a company as part of a hen package and as part...

Having stayed at this hotel previously, we requested a room facing the river on an upper floor and as before it was allocated. The welcome at reception on arrival was excellent and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The mainly self service breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of hot and cold food. The only down side is...

Stayed two nights. Chose this hotel as it was a fair price and we wanted to be near @Bristol as we were running the half marathon. Location was ideal. A 5-10 minute walk to the main shopping area (Broadmead, Cabot Circus & the Galleries). It was also right on the riverbank so another 5-10 minute walk got you to the...
