I've stayed here a few times over the years and the experience has been of a high standard each time. This time I was here for a wedding reception. Absolutely one of the best venues in the centre of Bristol, Palm Court is beautiful. Our room was comfortable, very clean and of great value as we had booked ahead and...

It's probably all been said before. Super location for all parts of Bristol to be visited on foot, very comfortable rooms and beds, smiley staff and a breakfast that lacked for nothing. We would definitely return.

Hotel is central to the night live on the water front and square. The room was clean and comfortable, we stayed on the top floor which meant it was quiet and we slept really well, didn't have the noise of a city centre. The bed and bedding was really cosy, breakfast was buffet and had everything you wanted.

A convenient location with underground parking, about £15 a day. If possible get a room with views of the cathedral green. An easy walk to most of central Bristol, and only 5 minutes from on of the water taxi terminals and the Waterfront complex. Also close to The Colston hall, The Hippodrome and the Academy. The bar is pleasant but...

Very good hotel with friendly staff, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, spacious and luxurious bathrooms, etc The only downside is the leisure club which although well equipped and with friendly staff, is really showing its age and could really do with a renovation.

Having stayed at Marriott Hotels and used gym facilities we decided the Marriott Royal would be a good choice to host our wedding reception. I would not recommend hosting any event at the Marriott Royal Bristol. Despite numerous communications with the team at the hotel we were shocked at the lack of flexibility and frank profiteering displayed by the hotel...

All in all a pleasant overnight stay.... as expected. Check in smooth, courteous and helpful staff throughout. Room was as expected of a traditional and historic building furnished to a high standard with a comfortable bed. In some areas it was quite dimly lit like a Gentlemen's club. Almost felt like I should be wearing a smoking jacket and cravat....

Stayed for just one night and really enjoyed it. Its an old-style hotel which is in keeping with the grand old building so lots of marble and patterned carpets. The important things are new though, the bedroom was large with a lovely comfortable bed with lots of pillows, a large flat screen TV and plenty of storage space if you...

Stayed as a couple on a great value deal for 3 nights as a long weekend, which included breakfast and dinner on the first night up to £25 per person. Would agree with many other comments made by others: Car park is hard to find and expensive, as would expect it to be free on site, but compared to most...

Grand old-style but modern amenity hotel in the heart of Bristol. Great floor to ceiling room heights, fabulous service, and unexpected treats like wine served as you checkin in the evening. Even though the hotel was packed because of the Rugby World Cup, the staff always had time for us. Outstanding breakfast buffet - best I've had outside the USA....
