Reception staff were very welcoming and efficient. The room on the floor (with a very efficient lift) was quiet with an interesting view over the Floating Harbour and beyond. There was only one easy chair although there was plenty of room for another - that seemed a bit mean in a room billed as 'luxury'. The bathroom was disappointing. Not...

We stayed here as part of a hen party booking. The hotel was clean, tidy & staff were helpful. The location is great for a night out, would definitely stay here again, but as a couple rather than 4 people sharing a room with 2 double beds, rather cosy if you don't know everyone in your group!

Firstly I would like to say as soon as we arrived we were met by pleasant staff in reception, informed of all on offer and directed to our room just passed the lifts on ground level. Room was nice nice bathroom and the bed seemed nice and comfortable. We went for a walk around in the afternoon and returned to...

Nice hotel, maybe a little old fashioned for some. Staff helpful and friendly. Car park was full when we arrived so parked at Millennium Car Park about 400m away at a cost of £16 for 24hours less than half the price advertised for using the hotel car park. Delays checking in, only 2 staff at check in desk at 6pm...

Having grown up in Bristol, I always wanted to stay at the Royal hotel which always seemed the epitome of a 'posh' hotel to me. I finally got round to staying for a night at age 60, and actually I wasn’t disappointed. The hotel is well appointed, with good facilities and spacious well -equipped rooms with comfy beds. I certainly...

We had a lovely weekend at this hotel. The room overlooked a courtyard and was very quiet. The bed was super comfortable. The room wasn't huge but big enough. The bathroom was a bit tired but everything worked. We had the room service breakfast which was great quality. We had a nightcap in the bar on one evening, very disappointed...

We have stayed several times in this hotel as it is beautifully sited close to both the Cathedral and the harbour, which makes it easy to walk to several places of interest. There is parking on site, which costs £16 per day for residents and is well worth it. The staff are well trained, helpful and friendly, and give the...

This hotel must have one of the best locations in Bristol for tourists. Right by the harbour. Next to the Cathederal. Close to plenty of restaurants and quirky independent shops. It's walking distance to all the sights and minutes from the tourist open top bus stop and the airport bus stop. My two friends and I loved everything about it,...

Parking very easy and secure (I think £16 per night although we only paid £8??). Hotel staff all very friendly and polite. Rooms very well appointed and clean. Pool is a reasonable size with a pleasant jacuzzi. We didn't eat in the hotel as there are plenty of good places to eat nearby (e.g. Sergio...very well recommended), for both evening...
