We stayed on a Saturday Night in May. The locatiion was good for walking to the Harbourside (10-15mins walk) where there are a lot of retaurants etc. The hotel itself is on a busy road so we requested rooms to the back - these were quiet. The hotel has some reserved parking (20 spaces) in a multistorey alongside, and this...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

Pleasantly surprised to note this hotel has been refurbished internally since our previous visit. Although it looks shabby from the outside once inside it is warm and welcoming. Check in was efficient, a plus being we were able to check in early. We were, as requested, allocated a room on the fifth floor overlooking Temple Meads station which is a...

I spent two nights in the hotel recently. The twin room was fine but would not have wanted to stay much longer as it was quite small. Convenient for the railway station and the city centre is walkable. Decent breakfast. Like all Holiday Inns you know what to expect and are rarely disappointed or uplifted.

Located opposite Bristol Temple Meads station, and about a 10 minute walk to the main restaurants and nightlife. Friendly welcome from the reception staff but my allocated room was designed for a disabled person. This means that for an abled bodied person the sink is too low and there is nowhere to place your toiletries around the sink due to...

Dear Nigel R, Thank you for the feedback. I am happy to read that you could benefit of our central location, as you mentioned next to the restaurants and nightlife. I apologise for any inconvenience regarding your room allocation, we only allocate this room if it's pre-booked or if the booking was made as standard. I will pass on your...

Stayed overnight prior to an early morning flight from Bristol airport. Front of house staff were so helpful. Room was ready before due check-in time, so an added bonus. We were checking out the following morning at 4.00a.m. (3 hours before breakfasts was due to be served), to be told by the front desk that there were no hot items...

Conveniently located opposite the entrance to Temple Meads station and a 10 minute walk to Broadmead shopping. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. My 4th floor room overlooked the main road but was surprisingly quiet. The room was spacious enough, free in room wi-fi, comfortable bed with choice of hard and soft pillows, fluffy towels, in room aircon/heating, kettle with...

The room was comfortable and we had a good night sleep, but our experience during check-in was super stressful and ruined our stay, unfortunately. We booked two rooms for £65 each, but when we arrived there the receptionist said the bill was something like £160 PER ROOM. We showed the confirmation email, her manager came over. The manager (Carmena, I...

The pre-stay communications were very poor regarding the parking. The reception staff were very helpful, and I may have been a bit brain dead after a long drive, but the car parking was very confusing. The room was remarkably quiet for it's location and the complimentary ear plugs helped. The bathroom wasn't 100% with dripping taps and shower, but at...

We were in Bristol overnight to catch up with friends. They had the better room (obviously) and were upgraded to a suite, but the Express is good too....

From first approaching the property it looked old and dirty. My wife asked if we were really staying here! The room was terribly noisy, right on the busy main road on the first floor. Emergency vehicles sirens were a real nuisance. The whole place felt not clean, pealing paper in the room, damage to wood, and generally uncared for. The...
