Stayed in this hotel for business reasons.. Its opposite the temple meads Station in the city.. So if catching train, no need for taxi.. Just walk our of station and look ahead.. 3mins walk at most.. If arriving by car, hotel is on left and immediately at end of the building there is a narrow side road that goes behind the hotel..park up by hotel to book in, pay carpark fee and then go park up.. Staff on my visit were exceptionally polite and helpful.. Foid is available 24/7..but very limited at time I stayed.. Obviously still under covid restrictions.. Room was very clean and in my opinion specious.. Large bed.. Good ensuite . Place for hanging clothes..and an area for using laptop or eat at.. Tv in room and air con machine on wall .. Would stay here again.. It is away from city centre area.. But very short cab ride..…
I have stayed at this hotel many times and the service standards are excellent The check in was good with all the info on the hotel The room had all the usuals however no plug sockets by the bed Staff were very friendly The breakfast was average I would recommend this hotel as it’s one of the better express hotels
Needed to travel from London to Wales for a family funeral and needed a stop over to make the journey within timescales. First time staying at Holiday Inn Express Bristol and thought the hotel and service was exceptional. Easy to find with our satnav and plenty of parking within well lit carpark. Greeted by really friendly staff at reception. All COVID measures in place and staff quick to explain how the services run. Room was spacious, clean and well maintained. Air con was easy to manage and there was a downstairs microwave for heating food we had brought for the evening. A comfortable overnight stay and refreshed in the morning we headed downstairs for breakfast. Again staff immediately available to welcome and advise. Takeaway breakfast was exceptional! Loved the bacon and sausage rolls and Holiday Inn had invested in steamers to keep the rolls soft and food hot. Overall a really enjoyable and refreshing stop over to continue our journey - and all for under £60. Well done Holiday Inn - great service and great staff. Highly recommended. Thank you. In the last 12 years i have been traveling during my nature of my work(operational manager for a 6 star cruise line) in 127 country but I never inguire such a worse service and attitudine for samoane working in hospitality industry. Her attitudine start for the begeining lack of hospitality skils. I pay my stay with my car without having a reservation,Ms. Barbara was on the front desk and she was asked me for the details of my card! For the first time in my life that somane asked me, she explaine with a superior attitude that those detail's are for guarantee in case of damage and she told me that she can't give me the room without having all this details, after I just payed in. When I asked her that it is redeculous that I coud pay chash instead of card and I was asked her to have a chat with her manager, she replay that she is the manager on the shift. After that I was asked her to give me a call on the room when my delivery food will arrive on reception, she replayed that is not a problem. When the food come I haven't receve any call from the reception, I descovered that my food arive at the desck after 30 minutes of it delivery. Since the restaurants are close abd you can't eat indors I was call reception to ask for some plates in the room, The replay was that they don't do room serivice so I have to come in a loby and get it for myself... So, rood and unprofesional service for Ms.Barbara "the manager" of Hoolyday InnExpres Bristol…
Stayed 4 nights and re COVID restrictions some things not back to normal yet....But must say had a issue and was sorted by a great customer focus team on reception. I would say my experience of this hotel was that the staff really take an interest in ensuring your stay if the best it can be in the ongoing COVID climate Regarding location just across the street from the train station which was great for me. Greggs,Subway, Tesco Express and Co Op only around ten minute walk away. Breakfast at hotel was grab and go was was ok for a quick snack and coffee before starting work.. Would give a score of 10 out of 10 Well done team
