Stayed on the relatively small touring campsite twice now, which was perfect for one/two night stay. Therefore unable to comment on Bed Rooms Friendly staff in the pub who don't interfere with your stay but are very friendly & offer good service in the restaurant and bar. Very obliging Good option to dine in or out Ideally located for walking...

Lovely setting. The food was very average. We were asked how our steak was to be cooked and it came out like boot leather, not how we requested. They were happy to take it back which obviously meant the rest of our party were eating at a different time. We had to ask for the sauces we ordered as they...

No Pedigree on a Friday evening! Skin-on fries not on the menu! Had to wait 15 mins to be told there was no cauliflower cheese! Admittedly staff were OK and we did get free deserts, but this was not what we expected.

Hi Thank you for your review I am sorry we did not have pedigree when you visited, But as we have had a few quiet weeks I have reduced our guest ales so that we don't lose any quality. I am sorry that we had run out of the 2 items you ordered but glad that we managed to sort...

We've stayed on this site twice now and enjoyed our stay on both occasions. The site is well laid out with 30 pitches and very peaceful. The only noise you may hear is early morning deliveries/biffa emptying at the pub but not too off-putting. We've also used the pub and had very nice meals in there. The pub does get...

We went for a meal on Tuesday evening, the place was not busy at all. We sat down and the waitress took our drinks order. We waited and waited for our drinks as we were so thirsty but after 20 minutes we had to ask for them. We placed our food order which arrived and was ok. The fish and...

Called in for a snack on a Saturday afternoon and it looked lovely and cosy from the outside. Inside it felt very "chainy" like a Harvester. We decided to have a snack and ordered some Nachos. We placed the order and then started to see some other people's food come out and we knew we had made a mistake. All...

Hi I am sorry that you felt your food wasn't up to our usual great standard, The nacho's are presented with the sauces on the top but if you would like them separate just ask and we can do this for you, I wish you would have said something as we could have resolved it for you on the day....

I booked 8 nights this week for 4 friends. Booking was made easy with no fuss. The all were made very welcome by the manager and his wife + the staff. rooms were good, food was good. They did early breakfasts with no problems. This is the place to stay in this area.

A spotless good size room with a very comfortable bed. Friendly and polite staff. Good food. A quirky pretty building, well decorated and interesting. Sadly we didn't have time to appreciate the local area.

Well it was January and it was a warm and wonderful location, quiet due to the time of the year but as a result we were spoiled by the hospitality. The bedrooms are large, comfy and clean and are an amazing price we paid £50 for the night - when there is a characterless premier inn 10 mins drive away...
