This is our 3rd stay at Bimblegumbie and it gets better every time. Not an ounce of beige in sight, but heaps of happy people and eclectic stuff. Delicious breakfast with plenty of fruit and homemade jams and spreads. We all love this place. Thanks again Pru.

Hi there and thanks for being such wonderful guests here with us on your return visits. Love watching the kids grow up so fast too. You are right ... there is not much beige here and we do find lots of colour a pleasure, and hope that guests enjoy this also. Thrilled to be part of the birthday celebrations and...

We were lucky and were able to book after a cancellation in the guest house. We are usually reluctant to stay somewhere with a shared bathroom, but this place workers nicely. Such a lovely energy and we enjoyed getting to know Pru and the other guests. We will be back!

Hi and thank you for adding your comments regarding your stay at Bimblegumbie. The real pleasure of having guest accommodation comes from meeting guests such as yourselves. As a return guests business of many years, with changing social times, the rewards of offering hospitality in the Guesthouse definitely outweigh any tiny negative ones. We look forward to your next visit....

This is a beautiful place to stay with your family and they welcome dogs too which was really great. This is the second time we have been to Bimblegumbie and we have been super happy both times. Quiet, relaxing and beautiful surroundings. Close enough to Jindabyne and the slopes. Thanks for a great holiday!

Hi and thank you for taking the time to comment on your stay at Bimblegumbie. We really enjoy having guests who "get it" and relax in the peace and quiet of our surroundings, though these be colourful, eclectic and definitely different from what I am told by other guests. It was also to have a great snow season for guests...

We stayed in the little house for 6 nights at begining of the shoulder snow season with our 2 young kids. It was hard to find a 2 bedroom with kitchen but was still rated 4 star. This place was self rated on wotif as 4 star, but is about 2.5 to 3 star max. Thought a B&B in the...

Bimblegumby is a special place. Eclectic, warm and full of surprises, this is an enchanting place to stay. Just outside the Kosciusko National Park and just 15 minutes from the Ski tube on the Thredbo road you have every option at your door if skiing is your thing. But Bimblegumby has more to offer than easy access to the snow...

What a wonderful place, the hosts cannot do enough to make you feel welcome. It's like visiting your favourite holiday cabin, with friends you've been holidaying with for years. Space to relax, space to sit in the sun, or the shade and enjoy some quiet time and read a book or just gaze at the beautiful surroundings.

We enjoyed 3 nights at Bimblegumbie, chosen because it was dog-friendly, and found it exceptionally welcoming and comfortable. It was a bit like staying in friends place because we had full use of the house, kitchen and grounds, all with our dog, as he would be with us at home. The garden was an utter delight, green lawns, overflowing garden...

We were delighted when we arrived at Bimblegumbie to find wallabies on the lawn, daffodils in the garden, and our cute, eclectic cabin awaiting us. The children were thrilled with the Loft in the Bungalow and entranced by the sculptures and treasures in the garden. Everything we needed was here. We felt warm and welcome and so much at home....

Last weekend my family enjoyed another wonderful weekend at Bimblegumbie. My first stay at Bimblegumbie was in the winter of 1986. Nothing changes. The solitude, warmth, hospitality, service, rustic and cosy atmosphere are all the reasons we still return to Bimblegumbie after almost quarter of a century. Nothing is too much trouble for host and owner of Bimblegumbie, Prudence Parker...
