Spent the weekend here with friends - total relaxation!! Angel Barn is gorgeous and so so cosy and comfortable, the setting is great for exploring - or just trekking over the field to the pub!! Debbie was super helpful and gave great local recommendations, she even baked us a cake!! This was our 2nd visit and we will be sure...

A wonderful treat we had here during the February half term. It's like staying in an historic farmhouse kitted with all the mod cons you would need to fully enjoy your stay. And set in a perfectly rural location yet only a short drive from nearby towns and villages.

Staying at Shepherds Cottage was a rare treat. We booked 4 nights for our 35th wedding anniversary deciding something a bit special was required and we weren't disappointed. The cottage is snug and cosy with everything you need for your stay. Debbie and Richard have put some thought into this and it shows in spades. I knew by the quality...

We had such a fantastic time here in the Shepherd's Cottage, our little family 2 adults, a 4 year old and a Jack Russell. When we arrived Debbie showed us around, we were blown away with the quality and luxury of the accommodation. Our little boy loved the little room that was made up for him and we all loved...

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at Angel Barn. We can highly recommend it. The accommodation is equivalent to staying in a luxurious boutique hotel. The attention to detail is wonderful, from the homemade bread and Victoria sponge to the luxurious bathing products. The location is superb. We took trips to Kendal, Keswick and Windermere which were...

The family shared Shepherd's Cottage and The Farmhouse for a Christmas to remember. There's a Danish word 'hygge' that sums up this beautiful place - it is 'a quality of cosiness and comfortable conviviality that creates a feeling of contentment and well-being'. That's exactly what Debbie and Richard have created. From a cosy evening playing games with the family to...

We stayed for a week at the beautifully renovated Shepherd's Cottage. As soon as we walked in we felt at home with the fire already lit, the Christmas tree twinkling, the aga walming the kitchen and some lovely touches (freshly made cake and bread, chocs, crisps and a bottle of bubbly to name just a few) to make our break...

6 friends and 3 dogs had the best long weekend in Angel Barn. Such a high quality accommodation and excellent service whenever we needed anything. Despite snow andice outside the barn is so well heated and insulated we never felt cold. The barn had everything including a fab cake!
