Rooms are very shabby and unclean. Had to change rooms as first one had dirty towels and stains on the bedsheets. The second one was better but still had stains and rips on the carpet. The filthiness of the remote control and surfaces raises serious concerns about how well the rooms are being sanitised. Bed was comfortable but noisy from the other rooms and the road outside. There is no handsoap in the bathroom and no safe for valuables in the room. Also no upper latch on the door which is not a big deal but does personally give a better sense of security. I only dealt with one staff member (I cannot remember the name unfortunately but a blond lady at reception). She was very friendly and helpful so I cannot fault them on this regard. Also no food options in the hotel as far as I'm aware though not sure if this is covid related. Overall would not recommend this hotel unless for a last minute work need and for a person with very low standards.

Dear cmurra741825 Thank you for taking time to leave feedback on TripAdvisor, I am sorry to read your comments and regret you did not have a good experience, we endeavour to deliver a good guest experience. We encourage our guests to bring any shortfalls to our attention while in the Hotel and will act immediately make things right. We have achieved the COVID 19 safety charter and so it is very disappointing to read the cleanliness. Regarding the restaurant, you will be aware that no inside dinning is not permitted under Level 5 and as such the Cafe operator was offering a take away service. We do hope have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future, regards Des

After a long day's work, I arrived just before midnight (wearing a facemask of course). I was told I wasn't allowed to stay as I had travelled from Dublin. The receptionist tried to explain that due to govt. regulations, they weren't accepting anyone outside of County Limerick. I explained that I was there for work and that Level 3 allowed inter-county travel for work if necessary. He argued that he was following hotel policy and there was nothing he could do. I called other hotels in front of him but they were all closed and not taking bookings that late. I said again that my employer had booked me in for two nights as I had to work in Limerick but it apparently didn't matter. I had wake my employer after midnight to explain and I ended up sleeping on a colleague's couch. There were no warnings anywhere about this "policy". I was and still AM absolutely infuriated.

I stayed here as a student to be close to the university of limerick. The room was nice and had a big window with a nice view. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was great. It was perfect for what we needed and we would definitely return again! :)
