In september we went to Iquitos for a 4-day stay in the Amazon forest. There were some parts of the program on the website that didn't match the reality. Like on Monkey island there is got to be an amazing variety of animals, but in reality it wasn't that much. No anaconda, no mata-mata turtle, only 2 species of monkeys...

I spent 4 days and 3 nights at Maniti by myself. The staff is very friendly and the food was fantastic each day. My guide, Edwin Godoy Perez, was extremely passionate and accommodating throughout my trip. Edwin truly made my time at Maniti amazing. This was easily one of my favorite experiences I have had in my life.

The rooms are spacious, the shower has good pressure, no fans and only have electricity for a few hours (which is completely fine!). I would perhaps add a mosquito net above the beds or have the option to do so. Its a great place to stay away from the crowd and to be with nature.

Thumbs up to our guide Edwin who passionately spoke of every possible aspects custom to the jungle! The food was great, the site was basic but made us feel part of the jungle. We were staying for 3 days and 2 nights which was fine for me but maybe an extra day would of been better to see more. If...

We spent 5 nights at Maniti. The camp is very comfortable. Good food and friendly staff. Our guide Edwin Godoy Perez was passionate and energetic, and proved to be a wealth of knowledge in terms of the local flora and fauna. It was fascinating to hear him speak of the medicinal plants, and to witness his love of the Amazon...

This was a great experience and very glad I went with Maniti Eco Lodge. The accommodation is basic, but really nice. What is exceptional are the staff. My guide Edwin was very knowledgeable about the animals and plants of the amazon. The food was excellent and I felt very comfortable and at home right away.

Went for 7 days, 6 nights and really enjoyed the whole experience. As a nature and wildlife lover this trip was fantastic. The lodge was basic but nice, happened to pass a couple of other lodges and was definitely happy I chose Maniti. The staff were great, very nice and naturally friendly, welcoming people. Felt very welcome and comfortable immediately....

I really enjoyed our trip! A little pricey but such a great experience! I feel that they advertise the best scenario so that's not always what you get. For example floating market is only done in high season and certain times of day/week. You're not made aware of this before hand. Perhaps a statement at the end of explanations stating...

We stayed with Maniti for 4-nights with our two children (aged 4 and 7) and had an amazing experience. By far the best part of the trip was the staff, they catered our experiences on this trip to the timing and the needs of our children. Ewdin was our main guide, he allowed us to decide every day what our...

Overall the trip was a great experience. The things we saw were beautiful, the food was very good, and the tour guide Rene clearly tried to make it a good experience. But for the money, there was a lot that was lacking. Lots of downtime between activities. Not everything on the itinerary was done. Not always enough food was cooked....
