Originally booked for 1 night but then rang and asked for 2 nights instead. They told us we would have to change rooms for the second night which wasn't a problem. We ended up staying in the same room for 2 nights as there was a cancellation but the management gave us a voucher for $10 to be used in...

The cheerful chatter as you enter shows the popularity of this establishment. We went for a catch up with extended family. There was a good selection of well priced meals for all tastes and my steak was perfectly cooked. Serves were on the big side. Service was prompt and friendly and the pricing very attractive.

This hotel is a true gem, it might be a busy pub, but the food, quality and value for money are superb. We had a family dinner here and no one was disappointed. The portions are filling and the seafood platter for two comes with both fresh seafood and tropical fruit and outdoes other more exclusive restaurants. This will be...

We have been here on numerous occasions and it is getting better all the time. Getting back to the good old days ie raffles/jag the joker and cheap pub food. Service is great and a good selection of drinks.

Regular visits to the bistro. Good prices, great variety of food, love the chicken, the rissoles and the ribs, and the cheesecake. Small private seating arrangements available . Family Friendly, high chairs available.

Stayed here for one night, with my husband after flying into the Gold Coast but not wanting to stay on the GC or in Brisbane, it was a good midway point. Arrived late, rang doorbell and staff checked us in, helpful and friendly. Comfortable beds, good water pressure, block out blinds. Had a good nights sleep. Thought it was good...

Have been to this pub for lunch and dinner on several occasions and I have always been happy with the quality and size of the meal especially when you consider the prices. Sunday lunch is a 3 course for $10. On the last occasion I went it was pea & ham soup, roast pork and vegetables and dessert was chocolate...

Very daggy and out-dated in the pub but good deals and value for money as far as food goes. Deals for every night of the week. $5 cheese burger and chips isn't great but what can you expect for $5! Friendly staff.

Clean rooms, no mustiness with tea/coffee and tv. Efficient bathroom facilities. Accommodation area is separate to the dining and bar area. Had no problem with parking but it would have been nice to have reserved parking.

Nice and clean rooms in a central location to both the Coast and the City. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were surprisingly quiet considering the location. When you stay make sure you grab a meal in the Bistro downstairs it will be worth it. The room did lack a toaster and some plates which means you need...
