STAY AT ANOTHER HOTEL. I wasn't sure if there was blood or coffee on the box spring. Dirty and dated. This place needs to be renovated. Pay more to stay somewhere else.. This place was overly priced. My husband was completely disgusted. We didn't up staying and went home.

This hotel is easy to find, but there are several things we did not like. Unfriendly welcome. Uncomfortable double beds. Unsafe electrical outlet (no GFI) in bathroom. Two flights of stairs (no elevator). No air conditioning. No clock radio. Spacious room with a balcony and a view of the ocean.

We were bumped to this hotel from another in town. The staff here were very accommodating and friendly, but the hotel is old and bare, lacking character. You have to carry your luggage up flights of dank, carpeted stairs and the halls have an empty feeling. However, our room was spacious and clean. The shower was adequate, but don't expect...

The reception staff are very courteous. However the hotel itself is quite dirty and generally worn out. No elevator or help with heavy bags. Our room smelled like wet dog. Great view. For $143.00 a night, this is a very big dissapointment.

Its an old Hotel with little Amenities. Musty smell when you enter but to our surprise the Room was very nice and clean with a great ocean view. Also the Stairs would be a problem for some people. We had a pleasant stay.

Enjoyed staying at this hotel because it was close to the Bay and walkway. Excellent view from my balcony. Room was spacious enough to allow me to entertain my grandchildren there. Nice quiet spot to rest up and visit family.

Having ground to the end of wet road on Vancouver Island to ferry up the misty Inside Passage, there are few good options to choose from here. My expectations were set for a grim night in a Scooby Doo mystery. But I was pleasantly surprised by Port Hardy and North Shore Inn. I stayed here for 1 night in mid...

This inn has a decent location. It is across from a park with a good view of the ocean. Near downtown Hardy. The rooms could use updating but are clean and comfortable. The only complaint is the lack of elevator. If you are mobility impaired or adverse to climbing stairs you may want to stay somewhere else

We booked this hotel for the location (launching kayaks across the street). The front desk staff were very friendly and let us park our vehicle in their lot while we were away. Pretty location. Unfortunately the hotel is very run down and in need of an upgrade. TV didn't work in our room. We didn't try the sushi restaurant in...

Stayed here while waiting for the ferry to Prince Rupert. Easy to find, friendly and helpful staff. Large ,clean room with a lovely view over the Sound. The price was right and I would tell any friends that is an excellent place to stay in a charming small town.

“You have to request a microwave or a fridge, and they only give you one or the other. There was no clock or hair dryer in the rooms and we needed to request extra towels. The rooms by the laundry room are a little noisy during the day if you are in there during the day.”

“All rooms have ocean view but I prefer the East side which has a view of the Hardy Bay and coastal mountains. That is also the side the sun rises so if you want to sleep in you might want to choose the west side.”
