We hired The Barn for my mum's 60th birthday and were not disappointed. The Barn was more than enough space for 6 adults and 4 children (two were in travel cots provides). Upon arrival, we were super impressed by the views surrounding the barn itself and were happy with the easy retrieval of the keys, from the key safe on...

I have just returned from my amazing hen party at Standlow Cottages. We hired the Barn plus Daisy Cottage and Clover Cottage and it was absolutely perfect for our needs - a group of 20 ladies all together for a good knees up. From my initial enquiries Julia was brilliant, replying immediately and answering every weird and wonderful question I...

Just got home from my daughters hen party at Standlow Farm, the accommodation was superb. On the Saturday we had a Mad Hatters tea party, which was organised by Time for Vintage. Lisa, of Time for Vintage, did an amazing job. The Mad Hatter treasure hunt, led by the Mad Hatter was hilarious, the tea party was delicious, the pampering...

Wow was my reaction upon arrival for my nieces hen do. We had the barn, foxglove cottage and 2 others for the weekend. Amazing. What beautiful cottages all kitted out with everything u could need and we had the added bonus of hot tub as we had the barn. Fab games room too. Would live for me and my husband...

We booked Lady Pond Retreat for a weekend, and to hold a family party one night, largely based on the information on the web site that indicated that the facilities were geared towards parties and family gatherings. The apartment itself was quite nice, but the experience as a whole was very disappointing. Firstly you're asked to pay the rental cost...

Thank you for your review of your stay at Lady Pond Retreat, the booking you made was for just one of the two apartments at Bradley Hall, when booking for a celebration for more than the 7 guests that can be accommodated in either property it is necessary to book both. As became apparent a few weeks before you stayed...

Booked these two properties for a hen do in august 2012. We knew they were going to be good as had previously stayed in Ashbourne Hall (also stunning) but had no idea how good. All 10 of us were amazed by the properties especially Yew Tree Nook. Comfy beds, full stocked kitchen.. showers could of been a little better.. but...

Dont know where to start.... this is not the romantic break you would want. My partner, our dog kimber and myself went to Yew Tree Nook for a week in September 2011 (we only just had internet installed here, hence delay in review). We were amazed for the first few days, it was so spacious and there was lots to...

We stayed in Daisy Cottage. Getting the key was no problem - it was in an ingenious key safe on the wall. I agree that the breakages price list is not the ideal welcome to the cottage but the sweets were a nice touch. For a cottage that sleeps 7 we found the 2 two seater sofas a squeeze. Decor...

Management response:

Thank you for your comments, I will ensure there is a cheese grater & BBQ utensils for the use of future guests. I am pleased you enjoyed the Games Room we have recently added another full size snooker / pool table to the existing one, it did mean we had to take the sofas out!
