We stayed at these apartments last week for a skiing holiday. They had everything you would need. Well equipped, fantastic location, clean, spacious and a beautiful view of the slopes. We would definitely recommend these chalets.
A well equipped apartment with two bedrooms, kitchen/livingroom, toilet and bathroom/sauna. Very good location close to slopes and lifts. In winter it is easy to access the slopes. In summer you can choose various trails and there is also two frisbeegolf courses to play. I would definately stay here again.
This accomodation is in the heart of the Ruka Village. The apartment was spacious and there was everything you could need. Beds were really comfortalbe. It was also spotlessly clean. Check-in and out was really easy and fast.
Perfect location for ski in and ski out, plus lockers downstairs for equipment. Our apartment was warm and spacious and had a great view - the sauna was a also a lovely welcome addition. Only one problem - our key card stopped working when we came back after an evening out and it took an age for someone from the hotel to sort it out. Would recommend though, it’s a lovely little beginners resort which suited us perfectly.
There was no one around when we tried to check in but I called the hotel and they come out. We got a lovely room with a view of the front slopes. The apartment was spacious and modern. It had everything we needed for the week. Our only gripe was that the living area radiator only went up to 3 and it never came on all week. Whereas the bedroom went up to 5 and we turned it off as it was too hot. Loved the fact it had a private sauna, drying cabinet, washer and dishwasher. Locked storage area for your ski equipment was great too. Good location in the centre of the village. We would definitely stay again.
Had a great week in this hotel. Rooms are well appointed, modern and clean. The apartments themselves are very well equipped - cookers, dishwasher, sauna, washing machine, dryers etc...all you need to wash and dry off your ski gear and to soothe those aching limbs. Hotel is located bang in the heart of Ruka and right at the bottom of the ski slopes so perfectly located. There are storage rooms for each room to store tour ski gear also which are free of charge. Staff were friendly an helpful. There is also a bar and restaurant in the hotel serving local food dishes of fish and reindeer. All told a great base for a holiday in this area.
We have just returned from Ruka Ski Chalets staying at room 1305 for the second time, travelling with crystal. I expected some wear and tear in the apartment after the last time we stayed here three years ago but it was still immaculate however it had lost some of its wow factor as last time the bedding were bright orange and blue which have been replaced with beige bedding which looked a little bit bland. My only complaint about the apartment was that the temperature of the shower, as it was on the cool side. I don't understand why as the tap water was much hotter. When I went to the reception they told me it was due to Finnish law requiring it to be between 60 and 65 degrees but they would check it out anyway. During our stay there were no changes in the temperature of the shower. I found that if I put the sauna on to warm the bathroom up and had the pressure on low it was bearable to have a quick shower. I would love to stay in this accommodation again, as the apartment was outstanding and it was in a convenient position, as long as I could be certain shower would be a nice temperature.…
Had a fabulous break in Ruka and hugely impressed with the apartment. We booked a 3 bedroom apartment and got two apartments linked together so four bedrooms in total. Never had so much space! We had rooms overlooking the slopes coming into the village and had the best seats in the house from our balcony for New Year’s Eve fireworks. The rooms are superbly equipped and have excellent storage facilities for ski gear which puts your literally minutes away from the gondola or the chairlift. Breakfast is a stone throw away at the Hanki Bar which is a really lovely chilled bar and does a pretty decent breakfast. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place and can’t wait to go back!
We stayed here for one week as a couple in February. Rooms were spacious, very clean, quite and cannot stop raving about the Sauna! Would definitely come back again. The location is just in the middle of the centre to all restaurants and beside the bus stop. The only downside I would have to say is that most of the time no one was available at the reception and had to ring them with our private phone. There would be an advantage if they would have phones in the room to make internal calls.
Perfect location in the centre of Ruka Village, 20 m from bus stop. Ski-in ski out. Ski shop and ski rental on the ground floor. You will get 10% discount for ski rental during check-in. Everything was ready waitng for us as we advise hotel earlier about arrival time. They agreed for early check in as there were not busy first days o February. Seamless check in and check out. Room was clean on arrival but later you have to clean and vaccum if you wish so or order additional cleaning for extra charge. Kitchenette is very well equpied and we were preparing dinner few times during our 7 day stay. Ventilation is efficient and absorbs cooking odors very well. Kettle, toaster, oven, dishwasher and coffee machine (paper filters needed) 50 m to K-Market, you can buy there everything you might need. Breakfast included but is repetetive, monotonous. We had a very good stay there and if we decide to come back to Ruka it will be the same place.…
