We booked our stay last minute but could not be more delighted we chose to stay here. Lovely atmosphere and beyond excellent customer service! Definitely recommending the hotel and its services. Hope to visit soon again!
I visited this family owned boutique hotel on my trip to Lapland. I have to say this place is AMAZING!!! So lovely stay in their small cozy hotel of eight rooms and what a restaurant they have downstairs! Truly recommend for people who appreciate 5star luxury holiday at the top of Ruka-hill.
We stayed a few days in december. Everything was super. Hotel, dinner, staff, the owner and his daughter. The Jacuzzi in the snow! The view in the restaurant, sitting by the fireplace. The rooms are small, but the view is a very good compensation.
Literally had the best meal of my life at this hotel! The chef came from a Michelin star background and the 5 course meal we had was out of this world! The entire experience was beyond excellent from start to finish. All the staff are exceptionally welcoming and professional; the chef served us each course and decribed what we were having each time, the wine and the gin was beautiful and the view from the restaurant is totally breathtaking. I cannot speak highly enough of this place. It is sublime! A very special experience!
We stopped for a RhumChoco. Nice restaurant with a great view outside. Large windows and a screnary that captures perfectly the nature. Choco had a nice flavour and it was completed with a nice Stroh Rhum. Service was nice and all the staff was wearm and made us feel welcome. Unfortunately our schedule was so tight that we didn´t manage to try the sauna and whirlpool outside.
Small but pretty rooms with lovely view. Execellent service, they made us feel very welcome and they were always willing to help. Location is good if you appreciate breathtaking views and easy ways to slopes. Dinner at the restraurant was also perfect!
Ruka Peak is amazingly charming and cozy little family-run hotel. They treat their guests as beloved family members and make you feel warmly welcome. The breakfast is superb! The sauna and jacuzzi is something you’ll cherish in your memories for long time. We also really enjoyed the chef’s talented and tasty menu that respects local cuisine and flavours. Location is really good if you want to settle down and relax in the middle of Lapland nature but still head down to piste as it is a perfect ski-in/ski-out hotel. We will most definately be back soon! Just loved it!
Unbelievably awful. The service is so bad the tables are dirty. After 45 mins no food or wine. Starter very poor and the waiter is so bad. Still sitting here after 1 hour and 20 mins and no main course. The only good thing is my wife is opposite. As a recommendation go to Stefans Steakhouse. Ruka Peak so poor! From an English guy who has a Finnish wife and been coming here for many years!
We spent four fabulous nights at Ruka peak, it is great for families or a romantic break for two. We had lunch and an evening meal in the restaurant. lunch time was a fun vibe with skiers and in the evening a lovely relaxed feeling with amazing food generally locally sourced. We stayed in the Ahma suite, it was very comfortable and had all the amenities you would expect of a boutique hotel. All the staff were professional, friendly and very helpful nothing felt too much trouble. We are already planning another stay!
Ruka Peak Chalet delivered peak performance again! The service was very nice and friendly. The food exceeded all expectations. One of Finland’s top chefs, Pekka Terävä, and his team had prepared a mouth-watering menu. Local delicacies served in an easy-going way and combined with great Italian wines did the trick. Absolutely awesome! Can really be recommended!
