We had a double Terrace View suite. It looked to be newly renovated and the layout was great: one room on either side of the kitchen/living room area, both with their own bathroom. Everything about our suite was great, except for the super noisy neighbours,...More
Just finished an absolutely wonderful stay at Taku Resort on Quadra Island. A really beautiful, peaceful place. Very comfortable and relaxed. Nothing like sitting in the garden chairs looking out over the marina to Rebecca Spit. Also had a wonderful trip with Quadra Island Kayaks...More
We had to abandon our less than accommodating accommodations that we had originally booked for our stay on Quadra Island, and lucky for us, there was a room in the inn. Very nice room and great service. There are also great cabins, which we checked...More

My third visit to Taku and each time it gets better. One will never tire of the ever changing vista across Rebecca Spit and over the Coast mountains. It looks different at every glance.

It's quite easy to get to us from Victoria. It's a fairly easy 3 hours drive on Highway 19 north to Campbell River. The ferry to Quadra leaves from Campbell River about once an hour but do check the BC ferries schedule for specific times that work for you. It's a small ferry so reservations aren't necessary but it helps to get there at least 20 minutes ahead of time. The ferry crossing time is about 10 minutes. From there, it's a 10 minute drive to Taku Resort. Just follow our signs or the signs towards Rebecca Spit Provincial Park.
