Fantastic B&B. Elaine is gracious and very accommodating. Wonderful location and view that a camera has a hard time capturing as well as your eye. Wonderful breakfast on the patio. Our only negative is that we could only stay one night. A highlight of our visit to Vancouver Island.

We spent three nights here this last week. The retreat is in a beautiful setting with breathtaking views. The hosts are friendly and informative but not at all intrusive. The room was comfortable and well-appointed. Indeed the entire grounds are beautiful! One can also visit their farm, although we didn't do this. The breakfasts were great, each day featuring a...

We stayed for a single night getaway trip - we live a couple of hours north - and loved the peace and quiet, beautiful views overlooking the inlet with the mountains beyond and the fascinating building and landscaping on this steep wooded hillside. A nice romantic spot for two. Breakfast was lovely too.

The view is amazing. We had breakfeast on the patio, horses and a hot tub down below. Romantic as can be. Great place to get away! Not too far from the city and a great restaurant across the hwy. We relaxed with complimentary champagne and cookies in the jacuzzi. Perfect get away.

The place is beautiful by itself, the view is breath taking and the rooms are full of details that transform the place into a fairy tail. We planned our 35 wedding anniversary vacation for months and thought Prancing Horse Retreat would be a great place to start our celebration. When we arrived at the exact time we said we would, the owners were not present. The young employee was very nice, but was not aware of what room we were supposed to be in, even though...

Spent a couple of nights here to celebrate wife's birthday. An amazing, peaceful escape which we thoroughly enjoyed. Al & Elaine were great hosts opening up their home and provided just amazing breakfasts too. We aren't talking a couple bagels and fruit for breakfast, but a full country style breakfast - over the 2 days, we enjoyed banana pancakes, omelettes,...
