Stayed here for one night only - we were attending a friend`s wedding nearby. Charming and helpful people, clean and comfortable accommodation, superb breakfast. Ideal if you want to visit `Last of the Summer Wine` country . What more could you want. Highly recommended and fully deserving of a 5 star rating.

In a small village just outside Holmfirth - ("Last of the Summer Wine" country) you will find a 5 * hidden gem. A beautifully kept immaculate B&B run by 2 professional, warm and welcoming owners. Everything has been thought of ,the rooms are warm and inviting and the setting is quiet and relaxing. I can't recommend this residence highly enough.... More

In the last 5 years I stayed at The Old Co-Op many times. Absolutely fabulous B&B. First class hospitality. Valda& Chris make you feel very welcome. The breakfast great every time - Chris makes the best scrambled eggs! Highly recommended.

Would rate The Old Co-op as the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Chris and Valda are the perfect hosts. Attention to detail second to none. The room was delightful. Very comfortable bed. Lots of thoughtful extras. Even a torch in case of power cuts. Breakfast was a treat. Unforgettable. Can't recommend highly enough.

Chris and Valda were wonderful hosts, very helpful in suggesting places to visit and their recommendation for dinner was spot on. We stayed in the en-suite room which was immaculate, with tastefully and unfussy decoration with lots of little extras, such as fresh fruit, touch lighting and crisp bedlinen. Breakfast was a real feast, nothing was too much trouble and... More

The Old Co-op is centrally situated in the picturesque village of Thurstonland, nestling in the glorious Pennine Hills above the famous old town of Holmfirth. This is 'last of the summer wine' country at its most splendid. The Old Co-op has been tastefully renovated by owners Chris and Valda Dawson in the traditional style of a West Riding famhouse. The...
