make a wish, click your heals and quite possible you'll end up in this heavenly slice of mid summer bliss, if fishing is your thing you won't see a better more equipped place by the river side, then top it off with a nigh time quite camp fire to reminisce .

Nice place to stay at. Centrally located. Boat launch, docks, and fish cleaning house all in good working order. Cottage was clean warm and comfortable. Kevin aims to please, and is very helpful. Will be returning next year.

This was my third stay at Merland park. The fishing was incredible. Several members of our group landed 6+ pound Walleye. The cabins are clean, spacious, and recently updated. By far the best kitchen and lodging amenities I've seen in a fishing themed resort. The staff were all friendly and the entire facility is in great shape. I'll be back...

Had a great time with friends, did some fishing and enjoyed the community camp fire. Cabins are as pictured and in good condition. Kevin was very helpful and more than willing to help out with fishing tips and tricks. Looking forward to returning next year.

This was my second stay at Merland and got the same cottage as last time. Beautiful view of the lake, and great time relaxing and fishing with friends. Kevin (the owner) was helpful with anything we needed, including tips on where to fish, which lures work best (and which not to bother with). The folks on the golf carts kept...

Thanks to Kevin and his staff for another great weekend of fishing! Merland Park has its own boat launch, and dock area to get your boat in and get it secured. Staff was very helpful and collected garbage/recycling twice a day. Tried fishing on our own but didn't fare to well, Kevin offered some advice and also came out with...

I have been to this resort a few times now and this last trip was just amazing.  No offence to my family however, this time I came with a few friends who just wanted to fish. Usually I come with my family and they play on the jumping castle, fish off the dock, swim and so forth but this time it...

It has all the basics for a cottage (to be expected) Owners are friendly and very accommodating. Sun sets were great bomb fire with chairs provided and wood. We came down for 4 days of wine tasting and touring of the County with my in-laws, not for FISHING. Choices were limited. My wife went thru 2 tubs of Lysol wipes cleaning the place when we arrived. The pictures on the web-site lie! They are staged (of course). They charged $25 extra per night because we had a dog...

Dear Fred, We are so very sorry to hear your stay with us was anything but a good one. We would like to apologize right from the start. Unfortunately, the dates you spent with us at Merland Park coincided with two large group events that did indeed get loud and carry on well past our normal curfew. There is absolutely...

Upon arrival I had to wait for the guy at the desk to finish what ever level of Candy Crush he was presently involved with. Maybe that's how things are down there. This is not a place for a family or a couples weekend...at all. We were surrounded by 20 somethings on a bachelor weekend and 40 somethings who were...
