This is dorm style lodging that provided a common area to chat with the other travelers. This is important because you will see the same people at the local restaurants and down the road. I recommend reservations by email as three different requests were turned away within one hour because all the rooms were taken.

If you are looking for a bit of history and a clean comfortable experience, this is your place. Common bathrooms but very nice. This lodge ranks at the top for clean. Next to the police dept. Felt very safe with a car in tow behind a uhaul truck. Management is fun and very accommodating. He lets you look at the...

Not a lot of choice in Watson Lake and this seemed the best option under $100.00 per night. The walls are thin and my husband heard snoring down the hall! There is a good tv with a lot of stations. No restaurant on the premises. The washrooms and showers are shared by all. There are separate ones for men and...

Had a great stay with Mike at the Air Force Lodge. As long as you go in knowing that it's a former military bunkhouse that has been thoroughly renovated, you'll be good. Scruplulously clean, has nice twin rooms with bathrooms and showers down the hall. Price is great and Lodge is welcoming.

A welcome end to a long day. The rooms are basic with a desk, bed, and TV. The showers and bathrooms are designated according to the sexes. Michael does his upmost best to accommodate your needs. I wish there were more places like this to stay. Thank you again Michael and staff for a very memorable stay.

GREAT STAY! Exceptionally clean, extremely nice owners, reasonably priced, and very secure "no frills" room. Does not provide soap or shampoo, barracks style restrooms and showers. Would stay there again.

Compared to some of the places we stayed up north, the Air Force Lodge is 5-star in terms of cleanliness and sleep quality. Sharing the bathrooms and shower were not even an issue as they were so clean. A heads up though to have supper before you go over as it is out of town a bit. We also took...

The proprietor greeted us at the door - quite a friendly gentleman! This establishment is a refurbished Air Force Dorm. So, your room has just a bed and TV (with plenty of cable). The King is actually two twins sheeted as twins pushed together. There's just enough room for the bed and to walk around it. Down the hall is...

We stopped here for one night. Mike is a very gracious host and he keeps his place extremely clean, neat and tidy. Rooms are basic and they have shared washrooms and showers... just like barracks but they are very clean and well designed and thought out. You have to try it.

If you're looking for the usual Hilton or Marriott, this is not for you. I was traveling by motorcycle and stopped by the Air Force Lodge because of the great reviews and reasonable price. There is a great history behind the hotel and it was not lost on me. It has been remodeled from top to bottom and is a...
