I discovered SJC via Instagram three years ago and have dreamt of visiting - it didn't disappoint! Fun, knowledgeable staff made our experience unforgettable. The surf was small and mushy, but as beginners, we felt like the short drive and walk to the beach was perfect for our weekend of attempting to improve our skills. We enjoyed a warm up...

We planned a week long trip to Vancouver Island and spent 3 nights tenting here. When we started our search online for campgrounds, most were booked and we were left with only a handful to choose from (we booked in April for a stay in July - Canadians love their camping). Luckily, SJ still had sites open so we booked...

We got great, friendly service. The site was big and had lots of trees for tarp city. The sauna, hot tub and hot showers made the cold days pleasant. The drying room for wetsuits worked great and made chilly mornings easier. I would recommend this to any easy going campers.

We loved this campground. It was great! We camped 3 nights during Labor Day weekend and were very happy. The staff was very helpful and the camp store had a great selection of anything you might have forgotten! They even had coffee and hot chocolate was great on cold rainy day. Some other great things about this campground, a wetsuit...

They allowed our RV, car, and tent on 1 site for an affordable price of $40. Facilities are very clean including hot tub, bathroom, showers, and office. You can rent surf gear and book lessons on-site. They also have an amazing professional Espresso maker to grab a cuppa joe on your way to the beach. Most people who stay here...

We had two overnights tent camping. Reserved online. Lovely staff and a well kept park. It poured rain for the two days but we still had fun. The campsites are nice and private and there was little to no noise. We aren't surfers but it looked like the perfect spot if you do surf. The only downside is that the...

Surf Junction Campground has offered me some serious camaraderie in a time of stress. 10/10 recommend camping on those beautiful grounds. catch some waves, relax. I hear the walk in sites are beautiful. plus they offer gear rentals, including tents! how cool is that? Tanner and Richard who work there are also the gnarliest, coolest dudes on Vancouver island! definitely...

Stayed at the campsite on Saturday and then did the group surfing lesson Sunday at 9AM. The campsite was nice and clean and flat, and each spot has its own running water (drinkable). There's a free sauna and hot tub too, and lots of convenient toilets and showers. All the staff were really friendly and helpful, and the main office...

Great campground with Nice clean sites. Didn't expect a hot tub and Sauna. Lots of options for sites for RV's and look liked a great selection of sites for tenting. All the sites were pretty private with trees and blackberry bushes. Would definitely recommend it and stay here again.

One of those campgrounds where you actually feel like you are camping. Very private campsites with lots of trees and nature surrounding you (including bears so watch your food and garbage). WiFi available for $4/day. Seems to especially cater to surfers with a wetsuit washing station (free) and dryer ($5 overnight) and hot tub and sauna to soak those sore...
