Just spent 2 nights here. The suite is very comfy with a very comfy queen bed. A small living area with electric fireplace, 32" tv, love seat hideabed and a comfy chair. Perfect for 2 people. A full view of the ocean although a ways away to the outside coast, but still beautiful. The owners are very friendly and helpful...

Wonderful stay at this oasis in Ucluelet! Fabulous room - private balcony from which to listen to ocean waves and watch bald eagles fish in the bay below. Personable easy-going owners. Easy access to the shore below for quiet evening bonfires. Nearby amazing hikes, beaches, great local restaurants. We had a string of warm sunny days and a full moon...

Firstly, this place is amazing. It's a lodge, not a B&B, so don't expect turn-down service or breakfast. The room was immaculately kept, well furnished with basic kitchen supplies and a kettle & coffee maker. Bathroom was a work of art, with candles around the tub and matches conveniently left for lighting them. Private balcony overlooks the bay (...maybe 30...

My mom and I spent four nights here and enjoyed every moment of our stay! It is a small property and the owners have thought of everything making their three suites super comfortable. The view from the room was so pretty and we spent every spare moment on the balcony looking for eagles and watching hummingbirds or just looking at...

We booked two nights at He-Tin-Kis Lodge for our tour of the Vancouver Island in late July. Upon our arrival, we were pleased to see how nice this place is- its driveway entry is in a cul-de-sac in a small street the lodge has only 4 suites Check-in was easy - the owner left us the key and a note,...

A very unique lodge with high ceiling room. Very clean, tidy, spacious inside and relaxing on the balcony. My husband, my daughter and I had a wonderful get away last week with Tanya and Scott's hospitality. The lodge is located within 10 mins to restaurants and next to the Pacific Rim Trail. With the private beach, campfire is fun at...

Lovely, clean room with a beautiful view. Enjoyed breakfast on the balcony. We brought cold meats, assorted cheese & fruit, as there is no stove in the room. The bed was very comfortable & the floors were heated. We had a nice fire down by the water at night, went for a little hike on the Pacific Trail just off...

A beautiful lodge in a wonderful setting, so peaceful & serene. As we relaxed on our balcony overlooking the small cove, deer wandered up to say hello, and we went to sleep to the sound of waves gently lapping. The suite was very comfortable & private, with the facilities for us to make our own breakfast & snacks. Tanya &...

The He-Tin-Kis Lodge shares its name with the nearby park and coastal walking trail. It is very quiet and is just a ways out of town. They have their own small private beach with tide-pools, paddle boards, and they will provide wood and kindling for a seaside bonfire, if you wish. Our room was clean and spacious, had a nice...
