I stayed here in June 2016, as my first stop going from Alaska to West Virginia for a temporary job. It was a fairly priced, no-frills place with a comfortable bed, and a nice lady managing it. She didn't charge me any extra for having my dog with me--only asked me if he was clean and housebroken. You do have...

Stardust is simple, clean and in the heart of HJ. The view from your window is stunning and Natalie, the manager, ensures you have everything you need to enjoy your visit. The motel is a retro reminder of travel from years past.

This is one of the better motels we have stayed in on the road!! Clean. Bed very comfortable. It truly does have a million dollar view -- we enjoyed watching the mountains all evening!! Natalie was warm and welcoming! This place is priced well. I hope Natalie keeps it going. We enjoyed our stay!

If you've read my reviews, you know I go for the ma & pa places, not the big chains. Stardust was one of the best ever. It's only 6 units. It faces a mountain view (complete with a bit of glacier) that is stunning; it's quiet, on the north side of town out of the main town, but still super...

We stop at every tourist information stop for information on what to do, where to stay, and where to eat. This motel was recommended and we found the staff very friendly, the room very clean. Like other reviewers, the room is not very dark and it is not the most soundproof room I have stayed in. This is a hotel...

This was the worst accommodation we stayed in during a 3 week Alaska/Yukon road trip. It compared poorly to other motels and cabins in two crucial ways. First, it's light most of the night so blackout curtains are a must. Our room (no2) had inadequate vertical blinds which didn't even keep out the street lighting. Second, to sleep we need...

We stayed at the Stardust four or five times and have always found it to be clean and cozy. The view of the mountains alone is worth the very reasonable cost. We had everything necessary for a good night's stay and will go there again on our way back down the Alaska Hwy.

This little mom & pop motel is one of only a few in Haines Junction. The room was small but clean. The furniture was dated and it only had a very little television (maybe 12"). They charge you $5.00 to use the wi-fi. The view of the mountains was beautiful...there is a little cemetery across the street and below the...
