Completely understandable that facilities are closed due to covid, however it is not stated on the website what amenities are still open and we were surprised to have no washrooms or showers considering almost all other rv parks have these facilities open. The park should really make an effort to make this information more clear on the site. Staff were not super friendly or helpful, it also says online that propane fill up is available which it is not. Definitely not worth the $56.00 price tag for one night with essentially no services. However, the location is very convenient for getting into the city.

This is our2nd time staying at Capilano RV site. The ONLY reason we tolerate staying here is because there is no other campground close to the city. The location is great for biking & walking around the sea wall on both sides of the bridge. It’s convenient for sure! BUT: The folks are unfriendly and inviting and make you feel like you’re a burden. The wifi is NOT free!, The bathrooms & pool are closed supposedly due to COVID (all other parks allow bathroom use) although the laundry is open. The most upsetting part is that we can’t trust to leave anything outside. During the night someone tampered with our bikes (they have locks) a glove was left below our bikes by the intruder. We left a favourite newly purchased magazine on our camp chair while we biked around the area briefly and the magazine was stolen in that short time. We had to move 2 picnic tables out of our site before we could park our rv. Super tight spaces with barely room to sit . Oh, and did I mention we paid $80/night for all this and a ton of noise and no discount for all the closed amenities?

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to review our campground. It sounds as if we missed the mark on your stay and for that I apologize. We try to make every guest feel at home when staying with us. We are taking COVID 19 seriously at our RV Park and our pool and washrooms remain closed. We do try to make this clear on our website and upon arrival. We do offer free WI-Fi in the lounge area and a free 3 hour trial of the high speed internet available in your unit. We employee security and the area is fenced and gated. Additionally we have cameras in the park and had you brought this to our attention right away we would have gladly assisted you in tracking down the culprits. We do hope you will try our RV Park again on your next trip though Vancouver. Sincerely,

We stayed here for night, and even that was one too much. It's a bummer that there's so little choice in campgrounds in the city, but I suppose that's to be expected. So even though we knew this place had verrrry mediocre ratings, we went with it anyway as we had to spend a night in Vancouver. The location is terrible, and we too ended up on the wrong side of the bridge, even though we knew which signs to look out for. That aside, the check-in clerk was terribly uninterested, and it seemed like every word out of their mouth was one too many. We did luck out on the spot we picked though! All the sites are mashed tightly next to one another, so that you are literally sitting next to your neighbour's RV when you're outside. Our spot, 13, was next to a hedge, so we had a little more breathing space outside. Next to the hedge was a gravel path however, which meant that a lot of people passed by our site. You win some you lose some I suppose! This campsite does have free wifi, but no fire pits.

I stayed in this RV park over 15 years ago and it is just as good a destination today as it was back then. While the full service sites are a tad tight, they are clean and functional. They run a tight ship here and while it is one of the most expensive places we stayed on our travels, the price is worth when you consider the security, cleanliness, convenience and location. We'll definitely stay here again when we're back this way.

Stayed here for 3 nights in the end of sept. 2019. Had our 30ft rv with us. Small rv spots but full hook up. Clean free showes and has lots of good facilities like an outdoor pool, laundry and relaxationspace. Playground for the youngsters and within walking distance of a big mall. Stanley park is on the other side of the bridge so walking distance! Perfect place to go full on tourist in vancouver
