When we finally found the place we were pleasantly surprised. We were warmly welcomed by our hosts and were shown to our ground floor room with garden views. The decor was a little dated and tired but everything was very clean and quite comfortable. The peace and quiet was wonderful as there is no traffic noise. Breakfast was delicious and...

We had a great night's rest at the aptly named, Soluis Mu Thuath. This inexpensive bnb is situated in a wonderfully scenic quiet spot a few minutes drive from Plockton and Stromeferry. There's everything you need here, from a warm welcome, to a cosy bedroom, with a comfy bed, pristine white fluffy towels, and a wholesome breakfast with some friendly...

Through a booking mishap Margaret was only expecting one person for the room but was quickly able to reassure us that it was o.k. that we were two people. Our room was on the ground floor and had everything that was required and more. Margaret and her husband Gerry are excellent hosts and a fountain of knowledge and kept us...

Comfortable beds, spacious room and a very quiet location which suited us perfectly. Local free range crofters eggs were part of the really nice breakfast and Margaret catered for my vegetarian daughter very well.

Love the gaelic!! This B&B is a little off the beaten path, but well worth the effort to find. Very nice - well kept gardens. The linens and towels are beautiful. Margaret and Gerry are gracious hosts. Great breakfast. Good value, would go back.

Margaret was gracious and friendly, recommending an excellent restaurant for dinner (Carron Restaurant). The room was clean and comfortable, though the decor was tired. The biggest issues were the lack of basic amenities that you expect to have in your room these days - TV and wireless. We paid the same price for a room in Dornie the following evening...

If you are looking to get away from it all for a few days and enjoy some peace and quiet then this is the place to stay. Margaret and Gerry are knowledgeable and helpful about places to visit etc. The food is home cooked and tastes wonderful, the rooms are a fair size with ensuit bathroom, They're clean and the...

We spent two nights in this b&b in October. The décor is a little dated, but everything was spotlessly clean. Our ground floor double room was comfortable, with an excellent shower and big fluffy bath sheets. The hosts were friendly and chatty and the breakfast was very good. Braeintra is a bit out of the way, but it was huge...

This B&B is a modern house - and very hard to find as it is well off the beaten track. We were shown into a ground floor room with en-suite shower-room. Perfectly adequate except there was no TV - now, I will admit we were tired and would not have watched more than a few minutes - but who, in...

We paid 110 pounds with 4 adults to a family room. The shower was lukewarm & the property was in the middle of nowhere. There is only one computer terminal accessible only when the innkeeper is around with his only special password. The only thing good was the breakfast and their 2 dogs which never barked.
