This hotel is wonderful in the sense that you can literally walk into the sea from your room..it is that close! Lynn and the rest of the folks at the hotel were wonderful and friendly and accommodating. The supper (included in the price) is a three course meal -more than substantial and very tasty. Breakfast is a great variety. Pity...

After 14 years we were fortunate to return to The Haga Haga Hotel. It remains a great, family friendly destination. Efficient staff and good old fashion service. In short, it is still one of the best kept secrets on the coast!

This hotel has been managed/owned by the current owners since 1974 and one can see they know the area well. The staff seem to be pretty happy which is always good to see.The view from our room and, as far as I know most rooms, was absolutely great and being a keen birder the birds were also great around the...

Ive been coming to this hotel since birth with my folks on a regular basis. I left EL 15 years ago for the big city. Now I'm an adult and came back here for one night and it was amazing to have memories flash backs from my child hood and what fun it was to stay here. I had a...

We stayed in the newly updated luxury self catering unit with 3 bedrooms.Absolute good value for money including the hotel meals, bar and amenities .All finishes and equipment of high standard. Staff very friendly and does their utmost best to make your stay memorable. The limited TV channels in the apartment was a disapointment. Other than the above......the gravel road to...

We stayed in the honeymoon suite which has the most beautiful views and ample accommodation. We loved the sound of the sea ever so close to the hotel. All rooms have a sea view which makes this place an exceptionally beautiful location. Had a peek at the new selfcatering which is the way the hotel is eventually going. It is...

This place is in a beautiful setting. The staff in the bar were friendly and accommodating. The furniture in the public areas, except for the dining room, was old fashioned and dated. Rules were pasted up all over. I felt as if we were in one those TV programmes where the hotel is a throwback to the past and are...

We stopped in for a bite to eat and drink. Very old and dated, felt like walking in to old peoples home. Major refurbishment required. No espresso machine, filter coffee was luke warm. Nice outdoor area for kids and to have a drink whilst watching them. A shame kids couldn't swim in pool (hotel guests only) whilst parents enjoy food...

Thank you for your comments. Surprised as the hotel has recently undergone some major renovations, including the bar, outside area, lounge, toilets and a large number of the rooms. Please have a look at the other hotels along the coastline before you make comments stating we look like an old age home. Its wrong. We cannot allow visitors to swim...

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel, with no serious glitches, BUT we consider ourselves "seasoned" travellers, and for what you get, this hotel is way overpriced. Like-with-like comparisons at other accommodation options around SA will give you far better value for money. We stayed in one of the self-catering units. As per previous reviewers, furniture is out of...
